Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! The screen shots I've seen are freaking awesome. Man, just what Blizzard needs, ANOTHER freaking mega-hit.

Yeah. I watched the videos on Blizzards official Youtube Channel from Blizzcon 2009. I've been drooling for it since. And the great thing is that you can expect a number of new types of game play/games to come out of it since the Developers are releasing all the tools they used to make the game, and then some, with the Editor. Including a 3rd person, over the shoulder style, like Starcraft: Ghost was supposed to be. It was actually demonstrated with a Ghost unit, ironically enough. And the new units look awesome. The Protoss Mothership, as it originally was that I saw, was a beast of a unit, so much so that they made it so that you could only have one of them on the field at a time.

Caprica has the potential to be confusing. If they can keep the plot clean and going in the right direction, it might be really good.

I agree that it could spiral to confusionville fast. They're throwing a lot out there pretty quick. Still intriguing on how they're going to end up with the toasters and no Zoe...

Blizzard is one of the few game companies that releases their games "when they're done". Not when the publisher wants them out, although I think they are their own publisher. Anyway, they put them out when they're happy with them. My only wish is that they'd try and make a new title not related to a current franchise.

Of course, if my grades from high school and Diablo 2 usage are any indication, its probably best for me if they go under.

Anyway, they put them out when they're happy with them. My only wish is that they'd try and make a new title not related to a current franchise.

Actually I think they were bought by EA a while ago, who have intelligently let Blizz go on doing what they do and just make EA money

No clue on Diablo 3. I never really got into the games. I'm sure they are good, but just not my style.

lol I can understand them continuing the Starcraft series, they left it open at the end of Broodwar for SCII. There's more story to tell. The games left so many questions, and would have if they didn't continue it. Now 2 could possibly be the end of that whole story arc, that's the impression I'm getting, but I could be completely wrong on that. Of course they could also start up a new story arc with a third game, which would also be understandable given how big the game series is, I mean, they've updated it continuously since it was released over a decade ago, that's some serious dedication there.

I spoke too soon.... we had 4 inches of snow today!!! WTF is up with THAT???? It was a really beautiful snow and the trees looked like postcards, so all in all it wasn't too bad.
