I think it would help if all women were issued tape measures before dating. Then guys can't tell them how big they are and lie about it.

IMHO, I think education about having sex is important to teach teens. Not just STD's and pregnancy, but how it all works and where it is. Practice, practice, practice. No complaints about doing homework I bet.

I remember to this day almost 40 years later, what it was like to take a girl's virginity. I was [snip] , protected of course, and had bittersweet memories ever since. I never dated a virgin again.

I'll have to remember this if I ever write a "virgin" story. It's been a very long time since I made love to a virgin. The first was when I was 19 and she was [snip]. The second I'm still married to.

I was 19. The hymen was the last thing on my mind on both occasions.

I've another one... I've read multiple stories, written by males, where a woman is receiving oral sex and her partner is able to use his or her tongue to stimulate her G-spot. Now I suppose it is possible to have a really long and flexible tongue that could do that, but it kinda strains reality.

I believe, as well, that the rule applies to stories, not to posts in this forum--with a limit, of course, on the age of the under-age. But even in stories on this site a character of age can say, "I lost my virginity at 16." So long as we don't see a graphic scene of it, it's kosher.

My interpretation is that the Rule does not include general conversation in a thread.

No, I appreciate your concern and don't feel it was an over reaction, I was just unaware. I usually read the directions after something doesn't work, rules too.

I'm just a bit curious as to why there would be an issue over talking about a girl losing her virginity in her teens. With every other issue we've talked about in this forum already, I would think Hymens and their loss, would be more of a writer's aid subject.

As the initial post stated, it was the lack of knowledge of the female anatomy that the writer has that made the story unbelieveable. Sharing knowledge with other adults is what this forum is for in the first place, so no rules are jeopardized, as long as it remains instructional and not sexual, in nature.

I don't think most girls who have sex for the first time have their hymens intact. sports and exercise and all that, maybe even masturbation, not talking about fence posts or anything ridiculous.

Guys don't really care about the anatomy being right in a sex story. Hell, I took anatomy in college and still write about a penis entering a cervix. From what I've seen women aren't really into First Time hardcore, so the few that are will probably just have to deal with the inaccuracies that come along with it.

In fairness a tampon will only stretch the hymen a little. And I think most girls are very aware that they have a hymen. We certainly were growing up and I have a 16 year old daughter who is still subject to the myths that circulate in school about virginity.
