It is very important and we need to be reminded that this is only one month. Women are faced with this every day

I am sorry Shy, but I was. It is a humbling experience to witness someone going through that, let alone a family member. Very sad.

I just learned this but breast cancel is a "type" of cancer and can be all through the body. My brothers girlfriend started out in her breasts but it's move onto the skin on her chest and now it's all through her body. I thought breast cancer was just limited to the breasts.

Thankfully, the people I know that had it, was limited to their breasts where they caught it early enough to eradicate it. That said, I lost a good friend to pancreatic cancer which is even less forgiving once its found.

over a 20 year relationship. Has stage 4 breast cancer. It's so sad. I just found out this week...

She's such a wonderful unique person. I spent my vacation with them in June.

I am so sorry to hear this...I also saw your post that it had spread to other parts of the body. This is why early detection is SO important and why those self exams and mammograms are SO important. My thoughts and prayers are with your family!
