Mrs t was ill all day on Sunday, so I took a walk "downtown". I did see a guy who was going through a garbage can, pull out a beer bottle out of the trash and drink the remains.

Excellent. I saw one eating berries off a bush in DC once, at about eight in the morning. I think they were juniper berries.

She had a sinus infection that put her down for the day.......other than a trip to the doc-in-the-box for a script, she spent the day in bed......

There were other guys camped out in public areas, guys going through dumpsters, etc......could be economic times, or typical city stuff....

Yeah, I dunno if it's worse in Vegas, but we have that here, for sure. One of the unfortunate consequences of having great services for the indigent is that they flock to your city.
