Hey softey,
The dust had dispersed by mid afternoon but lots of cleaning up needed to be done, also got another dust storm on Saturday but nowhere near as bad as last Wednesday's one.

Today it's 32C but tomorrow back to low 20s and expecting rain/showers. Gotta love spring hey!

saw pic's of the red days, hope it clears soon and sure there is red dust everywhere !

waves back ...... oh don't mention the back...it's gone out in sympathy with the leg..they are ganging up on me. A week I don't want to go through again.

Hiya Jail

Seems like you got your wish. It was a good game. The Saints had their chance and blew it, but having said that either team deserved to win. Good tough footy from both sides and how about that weather. Glad I was at home watching it even if I was in pain.

*chuckles* sorry about your back, hun.

yes it was a good game...it coulda went either way, but the Saints were much better in the first half. i was glad to be home too, the rain was horrible.:)

Storm will beat the Eels this weekend

We're still getting dirty rain where I live, no point in washing the car until it all clears

Must be the start of speedway season as the wet weather is here, we got a thunder storm about 6.30pm & fairly heavy raing with it, still showers now at 9.30pmish. so the auto car wash is happening thanks to mother nature.

No, I think it would be much better if the Eels won. :D

The back and leg are both getting better, although you know some times when you kinda regret saying something to someone........well this happened to me when I was at the chemist to get a refill of a script and while I was waiting I was looking at some pain medication for my back, I don't normally have back problems so I wasn't sure what would be more effective...well the friendly shop assistant in the chemist came to my rescue even though I didn't need it.

After a few exchanges of conversation we ended up talking to the pharmacist on duty, who then got involved with the issue and trooped me off to another part of the chemist to look at heat pads, she then went in to how to use them with lots of animated pointing to her own body. At one point I thought she was going to offer to put the heat pad on me. She was a lovely women but christ all I wanted was something for the pain. 10 minutes after walking in to the chemist I was back at the original packet of panadol I picked up plus one heat pad oh yes and the medication I originally went in there to purchase....next time I'm just going to get the script filled, pay for it and leave

And yep it would be good for the Storm to win. I don't normally like rugby, but if it involves state vs state then it could be an interesting game.

Evening all,

Hope the halfway point in the weekend has gone well....things rather quiet weather wise anyway...seems so silent compared to the last couple of weeks of windy weather...no rain either...sounds like good a time for a STORM..sorry that was a cheap attempt to bring in sport...

As for the red dust STORM in Sydney town well it does give you a reason to wash the car...just in time for another dust STORM...wouldn't you be pissed if you had just painted the outside of the house white and the paint hadn't dried...well on the positive side if you gathered up all the red soil you could start your own peanut farm

The first speedway meeting of the season fell victim to the rain so we are home in the warm and dry tonight :)

Tomorrow will be footy day so I guess I will be going to the gym/surfing the net/reading a book, or maybe even sleeping trying to catch up on the hour I am going to lose because of daylight saving

Spring forward, fall back.....so put the clocks forward an hour tonight/tomorrow morning :D

Some of the people i watched today would have wished that the event was cancelled! The Upper Murray Challenge.

Like a triathalon / Iron Man marathon - but Mountain biking [38km over the wet slippery firetrails of Khancoban in the Kosiosko foothills] transitioning into a 15km paddle along the Swampy Plains River, which joins the Indi under the Bringenbrong bridge, to be renamed the Murray [having broken its banks and flowing wickedly with all the rainfall] and then on the Victorian side of the river, a 25km run along dirt roads up over Mt Elliot and then into Corryong.

Saw some competitors half way through the run - and the clock was 8hrs 37mins .......

Ah yes - an hours less sleep.

And then off to watch moto X at Towong tomorrow.

Other than the fact some of my bus ptrs will be at the game supporting Storm, I do not really care! :D

Oh dear, am I the only one who loathes apeball with a passion? Something about men who have no independent movement between their ears and shoulders that ewww churns my stomach. Grown boys who play with a piece of vinyl and grunt alot which just doesn't do it for me. Mind you the thighs are fantastic. That does make one's mouth water and tongue long to linger....................

Hello everyone.....waiting patiently to become left behind by an hour..or as you "Mexicans" would say....10 years...

Enjoy your Sunday all.

Kisses
