Come out of hiding thread

I thought spring was getting closer in Denmark as well, but it snowed this morning! Not much though, and it's sunny outside today :)

We had snow yesterday as well, felt a little hopeless, lol. But it's so bright and shiny now. Makes me want to go for a long walk in the woods. Bring coffee and sandwiches and a blanket. Hear the little babbeling brooks and the birds, look at the tiny little springflowers.

Great day here to do that also...been feeling a little disconnected lately. There's nothing better than a little time with Mother Nature to refresh. Think I'm going to spend the weekend by the sea. I haven't gotten away for a very LONG time and need a few 'mental health days'! lol

I take back everything I said about spring.

Went to pick up kid from school, prepared for lovely spring walk in the sunshine. Came outside to -5 (23f), windy, sun out of sight ugly March full of dirty snow-heaps and dogpiles. :mad:

And kid rather wanted to stay outside and play with his friends than go for a walk with me anyway.

So I went back home. Grumpy.

I know what you mean about reconnecting. One of my favorite spring walk places around here always does that for me. It's a lovely walk first by a lake, then a stream down a mountain and hen you reach a lovely seabay.

I long to go there now. Bring soup in a thermos. We always see interesting bugs and animals, flowers and other things there. Soon that day will come. Just not soon enough, lol.

That's what I detest about the month of March. She can't make up her mind!
I mean, stop jerking me around already, and just Sun me!
Sun is out today, but windy & chilly...brrrr

I'm much less grumpy now. I invented some kind of corn-pancake thing with some veggies for dinner and it turned out pretty nice with very little effort.

Hung out a bit with kiddo and mostly relaxing now. Definitely time for http://i406.photobucket.com/albums/pp146/rinkarin/coffee-5.gif or a nap, lol. should probably go for the http://i406.photobucket.com/albums/pp146/rinkarin/coffee-5.gif.

Yes gonna rain all week here but thats ok will water my flowers for me. lol I hope the sea breeze and rythemic sound of the waves got to center you today. And I wanna see you sun too. *wolf whistle* :devil:

Not here. Rainy and cold. I don't want to get out of bed in this weather, never mind running in it. blah.
