Fuuuuuuuuuuck...we're on the bubble...I can't remember us ever being on the bubble...we have a 24-year streak of tournament appearances which means the last time we didn't make the tournament I was SIX...and now we're a fucking BUBBLE team...

ETA: We're in!! We're in, we're in, we're in, we're in!! We made it!! #12 in the Midwest region, first round game against #5 Utah. Not great, but we extend our streak!!! YES!!! :nana::nana::nana::nana::nana:

So I started dating this guy. I've mentioned him already (he's nice and totally into me). Anyway- I was having a very very bad day earlier and I mentioned that I needed chocolate and a massage. So on his way to a friend's today he brought me a chocolate cannoli and a Lindt bar.

I just don't know what to think about someone being so nice to me. :eek::)

Hey guys, just a quick announcement for everyone.

The last few days a marathon has been going on here on the internet. The people involved with this marathon are raising money for the charity known as "Ally's House." Ally's House was started by country music star Toby Keith, and helps raise money for children with cancer and their families.

So what is it? Well, it's being run by a group of gamers known as "The Speed Gamers," and they're playing through every Legend of Zelda game in the main series. They started Friday night and are now halfway through the third to last game in the series. They are still very short of their goal and could use all the help they can get!

Please at least check it out, and if you can donate even $1 it would be much appreciated.

I think this is amazing. It shows that gamers can have big hearts and make a difference too. I'm very proud to be a part of it.

Dammit! Why do bugs keep trying to drown in my coffee! Miserable peegs! *sigh* one of the disadvantages to living in a semi-tropical environment. Turn a light on and they shall appear.
 
Approximately 30 more hours till I go on leave...in that time gotta have another laser surgery done this afternoon, plus go to work for a few hours tomorrow ugh.
 
I just got my new driver's license at the DMV, and the guy that took my picture for it used to play poker at the same bar as me. How coincidental.
