The 'stimulus' isn't going to work, and why.

Yeah, it'll be easier for the Republicans to get the massage out since the religious right isn't nearly so diverse.

Ahhhhhh, the big 'bogey man.' LMAO

First of all, for all the fear mongering they haven't intruded on anyones essential freedoms. And the second point is they haven't demanded that the government support them.

They really are just an apparition used to scare children into obedience.

Did you notice the market rise today on the economic news out of Communist China? Their stimulus plan is all about tax cuts. Makes you wonder doesn't it? Commies doing what Capitalists would do and here we are doing what Communists do.

The top income tax percentage in China on all those making over 100G / year is 45%.

The top income tax percentage in the USA is 35% on those making over 350G / year.

China has much heavier taxation than the US.

If that is the case, then a message is being sent.

Quite frankly I don't believe that is the case and even if it were, there's no one recieving at the white house.

And Obama, or one of his 'butt boys', are going to make a statement tomorrow, or the next day, and wipe that gain out.

Let's face it vette, a white house obsessed with Rush Limbaugh doesn't have it's eye on the brass ring.

China, Commodities Provide Boost

Basic material stocks like U.S. Steel (X: 18.8938, 1.7138, 9.98%) and BHP Billiton (BHP: 38.14, 3.09, 8.82%) surged on Wednesday after a former Chinese official told reporters Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao may unveil a new stimulus package focused on manufacturing and infrastructure as soon as Thursday.

It was all over the financial channels today, with analysts saying it contained tax cuts for business. If true, could be a cynical attempt by the Chinese to draw some more of our business offshore, but we'll know the truth by Friday.

The Chinese, intrinsically, are all about business. Why presume it's a ploy if it elevates them to economic super-power status. In the future, they too may forget what got them there. But in the meantime, at least within a humans life span, why not rip the guts out of an adversary that's trying to emmulate the abysmal failure that you once were?

No wonder your match.com profile draws little interest, Ishy.

Finding someone attracted to someone of your, um, ilk is going to take years. Try a professional matchmaker.

Admit it, you just got hooked like a starving large mouthed bass. Now all Obama has to do is reel you in and gut you.

Look at the federal budget junior, no bid contracts aren't the problem, they're chump change. For all the furor they've created, earmarks aren't the problem either, in terms of the overall budget they too are chump change.

And your still living in the past. Pitiful thing to see in one so young. Haliburton didn't bring us to this point in time and cutting them loose isn't going to get us out of this mess. But you keep throwing up those red herrings junior.

There is some positive news though. Even the democrats have had enough of Obamas war on producers. Coalitions are forming in both the house and the senate to gut his programs and you should be sending those good senators and representatives some words of thanks. They may have saved a future for you, because Obamas policies would have garunteed that you had none at all. Time will tell if they stick by their guns.

And none of that changes my bleak prognostication for the next decade. The monies gone and it's not coming back. Obama is making noises about punishing those that seek off shore shelters. Which is a fine way to get even more wealth to flee the country before the fucking idiot can actually do something. He doesn't have a clue.

Just like Claire's email...

WE GOT YOU A TAX CUT!!!

We're supposed to be delighted with Peanuts while Pogo is dumping the gas to make us light enough to take off...

Peanuts make me sick! :D

;) ;) You know it...

Two weeks backstage with "Cats" nearly kilt me...

It's like when your wife comes home with a $2,000 dollar coat prouder then burnin' Mary that she saved $200 by buying it out of season!

Plus the $200 charitable tax deduction on the old coat, that is, if Obama doesn't put the kibosh on that deduction!

He hates ALL competition!!!

See how much can be learned from the congressional budgeting method?

Exactly.

"Hey little Secret Service boy, turn up the heat. It's chilly in here."

Ishmael

Fetch me some Marines; I have guests and cocktail weenies to be served...

And please have them refer to Senator Kennedy as SIR Weenie, thank you...

You would pay the bill and then take her to out for a nice dinner.

I've never been through a drive-thru which had a nice dinner.

The tamale van honking its horn in the alley shows a chick financial "awareness".

I am good with all of that as long as Ish does not refer to me as junior.

There are havens all over the place. The goal is wealth preservation, not growth. T-bills, gold, platinum, Swiss (or other banking centers) accounts, you name it. The Swiss have effectively told the US to go pack sand re. the attempt to get names and accounts. I don't blame them either. Wealth not invested in markets is quite portable.

Right now a great deal of those monies are flowing into T-bills. Which only sets up another catastrophe if Obama decides to raid those as well.

Ishmael

This is odd. I had you pegged as a trickle-down proponent. Ya know, give the wealthy more money and they'll create jobs with it.

Yet, you seem to be saying that when times are tough, the wealthy actually horde their money and place it into safe "vehicles".

Interesting. I guess I had you all wrong.;)
