Probably a weird question because I've searched google and the forums here and haven't found anyone else asking. I have a toy (see here) and I absolutely love it. I couldn't use another inch in length, but I'd really like to be able to make it thicker. Now before everyone says "just buy a bigger one" I've considered that and I don't want to. I won't bore you with the reasons, but what I'm looking to do is enlarge MY toy in a safe way that isn't going to destroy it (or me). I wish I could somehow enlarge it from the inside so that I wouldn't lose all the nice textures and realistic coloring by dipping it in something like liquid latex.
I thought about dipping the whole thing in flesh-tone liquid latex a few times, but then all the colorful parts that make it realistic would all be that same fleshtone. I don't even know if liquid latex would be the right material for this, or if there's a clear alternative that won't turn the whole thing monotone.
Any suggestions on what materials I should use?? Or a way I could enlarge it from the inside? Maybe cut out some of the inside and cram a larger silicon piece inside? But then how would I seal all that up?
Happy to post pics of the finished product for anyone else who want to try the same project.
Thanks!
