well during the reproductive process, the dna stuffs needed to make a boy is present in the genetic material contributed by the female, so it is theroeticaly possible to pull that off, what i find supprising is that sunfire, who is a freaking alien, not only looks incrdibly human, but is biologicaly compadible as a mate/cloning half

Well, okay, it's of Hellboy, but it's from an issue of Savage Dragon. Which is, like, the greatest superhero comic of all time.

Seriously, just the fact that they had a climatic battle end with the main villain being cut in half while he was caught monologuing as a portal closed on him, rather then actually jumping through it at the last second in typical dramatic fashion, makes it better then 95% of the superhero titles in existence. /fanboy moment

and aww poor Mal, go and tell your mom you've got a crush on your friend only to have her freak has to be a little bewildering.

Alice has always been a little leery of the woman herself, just because she has the feeling Sally doesn't like her too much.

Sally's in general a more accepting woman then many of the other League members (she was an important part of helping Hex reform, after all), but she feels as if she can't be too cautious when it comes to her son. Especially given the history of Alice's predecessors to either die early on the people they love and/or turn against them (albeit briefly in Supergirls case).

In either case, yeah, it was a pretty bewildering moment for Mal, to say the least. But his parents did talk to each other about it and then explained things a little more clearly afterward. It was essentially what led to him finding out more about the history behind Alice's 'birth'.

Yes, I remember those Archie Comics. And Yes, I remember when Raph broke up with Ninjara and the later on in the future was with another fox girl, a descendent. ...I was like "WTF?". The Archie Comics were fucked up in my opinion. lol ...Though I fell in love with Slash (the turtle) in the comics. There are so many versions of him nowadays. *sigh* But like Mirage always does, they get rid of their characters or make new ones. At least the Shredder and the Utroms survived (and Leather Head...and a few others). .....I've always liked Raph with Mona, to be honest. >>

I loved the Archie Comics. lol They were one of my favorite comics growing up, largely because they could actually keep the same writer and/or artist on the book for more then a half dozen issues. It's so frustrating to get into a comics direction, only for a new writer to be put in charge and scrap the plans made by the previous person so they can do their own thing. Or when an artist change happens and you can't recognize half the characters at first. Pft!

But, yeah, it sometimes surprised me what they got away with in the TMNT Adventures series. Like the issue where a blinded Mikey is strapped to a table and being tortured from start to finish. That was pretty dark stuff. Funny enough, other then a couple of issues for Tales of TMNT by the people who did TMNT Adventures, I haven't been picking up the newer Mirage books. Although I do keep up on it by reading summaries online, since I need my Ninja Turtles fix somehow. heh

And Mona Lisa was adorable! It always disappointed me that they never used her more in the cartoon. She moved down into the sewers (or at least the New York area) at the end of the episode and then dropped off the face of the Earth.

And....I really need to stop getting off topic with my random fandom spiels.

I love that comic! I am such a comic book geek! And I am PROUD of it, too!

And it was nice, I admit, that they had one writer and artist for this comic. It's a rare case, you know. And you are right. I hate it when there are so many writers and so many different artists for a story. >___< It gets so confusing! And nowadays, comics are not what they used to be! Sure they have much better graphics/art... But the stories! They aren't as well written!

And I am just as bad as you. I can go on and on about this stuff! Ask Unseen. Sometimes she has to come out and tell me she just doesn't care to hear it! lol >> Yes.

And I feel bad for Mal in regards to how his mother sees his friends. ...I don't know how she views Jules. No.

You see, what I've gathered from Unseen... Alice had been abducted durring the same time Jules was, only by a scientist wanting to use her as a power source. I don't know if Mal and his mom went to save her, which is possible, or went to get Jules back. My instincts tell me they went to save Alice. Hex went along, too. And probably J'onn J'onzz. And possibly Green Latern since she is friends with Flash.

Ertigan, Wonderman (Wonder Woman), SuperWoman (SuperMan), Eddie, Beast Girl, BatWoman, and others went down to hell to rescue Jules.

Nah, I like it, particularly when it comes to his eyes and the attitude which comes across. If I was a fangirl, I'd totally write kinky fanfics involving my Mary Sue making every other character in the story look bad while trying to get with him. *nodnod*

And I've decided to sneak in a Ronan post. I'll try to get a Mallory one done later, but I'll point out that he's not going to be in the leisure room/kitchenette by the time Jules gets there, so the absence of a response from him shouldn't get in the way of anyone else getting in a post.
