Thanks, all.

He just called me and told me he pretty much nailed it, so he's pretty confident they'll take him. He is overqualified, even more than for his last job (of the *blank stare* by the interviewer followed by "What the hell is a guy with a M.A. in applied physics doing here?" variety) but it's a job and that's all that matters for us right now, really.
