I suppose I should mention that I have pretty much zero comic knowledge, so making characters based on established heroes may not be a good idea unless you can tolerate (possibly massive) inaccuracies.

Well, it is an AU, so there's going to be lots of room for flexibility. Heck, Beast Girl alone in the last thread had a lot of changes from Beast Boy in the comics. Plus there was a lot of mix and matching of comic and cartoon continuity, not to mention certain past events and backgrounds being described with each persons own spin of how exactly it played out in this universe. So, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

At the same time, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to have some members whom weren't related to past Titans. Otherwise, they may as well nickname this group 'The team that nepotism built'.

Well, I'll likely avoid the pants dropping on the off chance of Ravenor going commando, as KOD mentioned. That would either end with everyone snickering at the poor guy or the women of the team wanting to start a fanclub dedicated to him.

Not to mention many repeat viewings of the surveillance camera footage of said pantsing....

And I like your characters! I just find it amusing since, other then maybe Jeffinator and a couple others, I don't think anyone else creates/controls as many characters for their threads. But, hey, most of them are needed for Jullian and his parents background, so no complaints here. *nodnod*

Funny enough, I keep getting an image of Mallory seeing her for the first time, then commenting to Jules later about how his grandmother is 'scary hot'.

I have no preference to hero or villain at this point. An original character was my intention anyways, so I'm aware it doesn't have to be related to an established character. I was simply saying that in reply to some of the images presented being comic characters.

I do like the look of that guy, though. Maybe I'll see what I can get out of that.

YES INDEED! AUs are VERY, VERY bendable...at times, less there are rules set that possibly could never change. *shrugs*

THANKFULLY. Jullian has not only a barrier, buuuut a seal to keep Trigon at bay!
The only way really summon the bitch is to either have some nimrods free her from being sealed up or for Nightmare to do it himself. ...Nightmare can channel some of her powers to him, but he is not in a hurry to free her. No. Thankfully.

And then there is love. It is true how the saying goes "love conquers all".
It's because of his mother's love for him that Jullian did not have many problems growing up with containing his dark sides.
He did have trouble durring his sick years, yes, but that was caused because of the people he met that hated him and hurt him. ...Eh, long story short. Jules wanted to see what "normal" kids do (like go to school for one), it backfires, he gets bullied, they chase him down the street, throw rocks at him, and he kills them all. Poor Beast Girl tries to keep the town at bay and keep them from taking away her son. They told her that if she does not keep him home at all times, locked up, they'll get rid of him. He becomes "sick" because of all of the negativity he is picking up from all of them. To help her son, she not only requests doctors and makes sure he has special care, she also takes him around the world in seek of help, help that would guarantee him being able to control his powers as well as his fate.

And like I said in my bios.
Jullian is a mama's boy.
And even Nightmare cares for his mother, too.
He may not show it well, especially with him being rebellious...but deep down, he does really care. Eddie and she are the only ones he knows that truly do care for him, especially his mother whom he knows would do anything for him.
As Nightmare would say "Mother is a god in the eyes of a child".

There goes my hope for any Trigon sex scenes. heheh

Though it does remind me of this disturbing image I saw on deviantart once, which had a male Jinx/Hex in speedos and hanging out in a pool. Pretty yaoi type of drawing, but it at least gave you an idea of what the guy was packing down there.

Still, it's probably for the best that I couldn't locate it again. Poor Mallory would go blind in an instant. heh

One thing I really like about Jules is how, despite all of his problems and his bouts of shyness, he actually makes an effort to get along with others. Least when it comes to his teammates. Many others would go the opposite direction by having him all standoffish toward new people until they gain his trust in the long run. So that's an aspect of his character which I've really enjoyed thus far.

That, and how super cuddly his animal forms seem to be. If the Titans ever get into marketing, they so need to consider the possibility of making plush dolls based on Jullian and his various animal forms.

Jules suffers from what I call "The Casper Syndrome". Like Casper the friendly ghost, he wants to make friends but everyone is afraid of him. And like Casper, he is still a good person/ghost despite all of it.
If you ever seen the first movie of Casper, the one directed by Steven Spielberg... You'd know exactly what I mean. The scene I point out most is when Kerrigan and her crony/lawyer are in the manor for the first time. Casper was all nervous at first, but then finally built up the courage to come over and happily greet them (of course, he had some pushy persuasion).
Jules is shy by nature, but he often pushes the shyness back and hopes to make friends with people he meets.

Jules's powers are both a gift and a curse for him, mostly a curse, though.
