I love Rock n Roll (OOC/ Casting Call/ revised version of Rockin and Rollin)

10 friends had once formed a band together in highschool, but in the midst of forming this band, they all had different opinions on how songs should be written and sung.

Thus the 10some became two seperate bands. Five stayed in the original band 'Chaotic Frenzy' (name could be changed if desired) while the other five (female) members formed their own group called Sweet Surrender.

Join these two bands as they go through the mayhem of battling against one another, trying to get a contract, and have a normal relationship with the opposite sex.

Bio: Allison was the former backup singer for Chaotic Frenzy until her and the lead singer had gotten into a fight. They had all been friends since they were kids, well some of them had met the other band members in highschool. Anyways, Allison never forgave the lead singer and started her own band with 4 other female band members.

Mikey McKay, guitarist for Chaotic Frenzy. 21 years old, college student, works in a coffee shop.

Mikey is an amazing guitarist; he's been playing since he was a little kid. He admits that his musical drive was part of what pushed the original band apart. He wanted more improvisation within the songs, more time to play, while other people wanted the songs to be really tight and focused. Basically he was getting sick of playing the same short solos over and over.

Mikey's grown into an even better guitarist since high school, however he has a substance abuse problem that he won't admit to. He drinks too much, smokes too much, parties too hard, though he's never once been too fucked up to play his guitar. Some people close to him say he often does his best work when he's high as a kite. He's one of those perfectly functional addicts. Pays his bills, never gets into trouble (except for the odd noise-complaint). He rents a house near campus with some other students; he lives in the basement and has turned it into a mini-studio. He's always down for a jam and another beer.

Bio:is the Lead singer of Chaotic Frenzy and had gotten into a fight with the co singer. They had all been friends since they were kids, well some of them had met the other band members in high school. Nana knew that fight was pointless cause there was no way,a chance of them being friends again.To Nana,Her best friend betrayed her by creating a new band. Now they are rivals in search of the same goal.TO be number 1

Name: Zara Millar

Age: 19

Looks: Zara is quite tall standing at about 5.7, but never wearing heels she probably looks about average height when you compare her to other girls. She eighs in about 118 pounds, looking really slender in her black skinny jeans and tight tops (that cover her 32B chest) until she throws a hoodie over herself. Her hair is is very dark brown with a few blonde chunks underneath, its poker straight with alot of short layers, this doubled with the volumising product and back combig its pretty big. Her dark hair matches her dark eyemake up. Shes pretty much emo.

Interests: Zara spends 99% her time doing something to do with music- playing, listening, going to gigs, just about everything. When shes not doing that shes usually dawing or tending to the odd hash plant she grow in her room.

Bio: Zara was the guitar player for Sweet Surrender which was working out pretty well for her. Unlike most of the other band members she wasn't that upset when Chaotic Frenzi split, she preffered being in a smaller all girl band and because of this was still in speaking terms with the members of Chaotic Frenzi which could sometimes cause some tention between her and her fellow band members.

She had been playing guitar since she was about 9, starting out with some country that her dad had taught her and then she started to branch out into rock, metal and anything else with an electric guitar in it. When she was 14 her mum and dad split up and for that Zara had never really forgiven her mum, she knew fine well that she had pushed her dad away and to this day still had a pretty big chip on her shoulder about the whole thing.

At 18 Zara had moved out of her mums house and started renting a very small apartment on the other side of town which was pretty handy for practising.

Name: Matthew Burler

Age:24

Appearance: Matt is about 6'2". He has light brown hair cut short. He has light blue eyes. Matt is fairly fit with broad shoulders. If he wasn't a musician he could have played sports. He wears whatever he feels like wearing any day. some days he could wear jeans and a t-shirt, others he could wear a suit. During gigs he wore whatever fit best with the theme he used.

Bio: Matt was musical from a very young age. He sang in his school choir and was in musicals, often as the lead. Near the end of elementary school he started playing instruments. He picked up the saxophone quite easily. He plays all varities of the woodwind instrument, soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone. Bass sax is rare and he never bothered trying it. The training of his emboucher for woodwind instruments helped his singing as well. It helped him through high school, becoming a star in the concert and jazz bands.

By the end of high school he started singing on his own, often with various back up bands. His favored style of singing was much like Sly and the Family Stone. He became well known in his home town for his voice and for sax solos in the middle of a song. It ended up landing him a record and concert deal.

He started building a name for himself in the world. He was not a rapper and nothing like the typical acts, so he was not wildly popular, but he still made money and got a following. He also built up a name within the record company, holding a little away with the producers about new acts. Helping judge them. Basicly a talent scout, looking for artists and groups who are young and talented like he was when he got out of school. The younger they got them, the more naive they were, and the better deals the company could get with them.
