Since last sunday i have had a sore throat/ cough.
Whilst the soreness has subsided, and i'm only reduced to a choking mess about 3 times in a day...my voice is not back to normal.
If i havent talked in a while, and i need to speak, sometimes my voice comes out an octave deeper, and hoarser. Other times, my voice ceases to exist in the middle of a sentence or song line- even though i am still in essence, speaking- just without sound...
this is getting tiresome...i enjoy singing along to my songs, and i find my voice just cuts out in the middle of a note

Not even cough related, I lost my voice for a few years up until recently. I could only sing a half a song without my throat getting so dry that I would cough myself to tears. Drinking water or anything else didn't seem to help at all either. My throat was just ruined. It was terrible.
I think it is finally getting better though. I can make it through two or three songs in a row again now

Sounds like me on a Saturday night at work and I have to cut off really drunk people..... I tell them "If you really knew how you are acting right now you would see things my way" I'd love to show them a video of the way they are the next day....
People have their OWN realities... It's sad that they really can't see who they are.... Knowing who you are is really a goal everyone should have.....
