I have found that I have been able to enjoy prolonged, anal intercourse with a few of my girl friends without ever having to resort to artificial lubricants.

Early in our marriage, I introduced my ex wife to anal intercourse and she grew to love it. Before penetration we would engage in mutual anal play, during which I would thoroughly tongue her anus - (we were strictly monogamous during our decade of so of a generally happy union and never suffered any ill effects from this) - and I would make sure it was well lubricated with saliva. It's called pre-seminal fluid (or pre-ejaculate or Cowper's fluid). It's not from the anus but rather the other organ involved.
