They're keeping money from you too? I've been trying to get a check I'veb been owed since June! You'd think now that I'm finished with that school I'd be done with them, but they STILL find a way to screw me over!

Well, I'm not owed that much, but when you have Fingerprint fees, application fees, class fees and a parking ticket to pay off, and only have $5 in your account and less in your wallet, you tend to want that stuff to get settled as soon as possible.

I'm sure it's for a background check for teaching type position. Usually you have to pay it up front and then they'll refund it back to you.

Yes indeed, I need to take fingerprints for each district, so I can only afford to do one right now, and I can't even really afford that. It sucks, I need money to pay for all this stuff, but I can't get a job because I can't pay all the fees, so I have no way to make money. How backwards is that? Hell I'd be subbing already if it weren't for those damned fees. Now I have a parking ticket on top of everything and no way to pay for it.

My school better get things straight, or I'm screwed. In other words, I'm screwed.

The wonderful simplicty of life spills over with endless surprise.

The building site in front of me works relentlessly from dawn till dusk, six days a week. It is a good building project, organised, tidy, and safe. It has twenty-four hour security, a man and his wife 'live on site' in a cabin. She cooks outside and smell of grilling meat or fish wafts across the street each dusk. This morning is laundry day and our quiet and resting building site is draped with brightly coloured laundry, not just hers and her husbands, but the construction workers fluorescent yellow safety vests which hang bright and gleaming in the sunshine from scaffolding and reinforcement bars.
