mccain must have seen something
in her that... added to the ticket...
she is an elected
(80% majority)
governor...
of an energy state....
Most likely just won himself the election.
Well, so much for this morning's coverage of the DNC.

Most likely just won himself the election. I figure he was gonna win anyway but this probably cements it. Obamas numbers didn't jump a lick when he picked his VP but I bet McCains do.
It's still early but look for him to pull ahead.
Funny. I look at the VP choice and my first reaction is that he has lost himself the election.
So you think women are that shallow? Are you going to vote for McCain now?
He keeps the Republicans and pulls in the Hillary supporters that are mad enough already. Maybe a few others that were riding the fence.
C'mon folks!
You can do better than that!
Where's the personal slander?
Okay. [why do I have to do everyone else's job around here]
I'll start:
Palin in UNFIT to be Vice President, let along President, because I read on BowelMovement.org that the neighbor of her newspaper boy's cousin's Little League coach's wife has two DUIs.
He's not pulling in the Hillary supporters with her.
Yes he will. They don't want Obama but were leaning that way because they had no other choice. Now they have a choice albeit a sexist one.
They're called breasts.
She won that election 48%-41% : A non-majority in a Republican state. And not coincidentally, the state that gets more federal dollars per capita than any other.
I will say this for her: she was probably the best mayor Wasilla ever had.
She runs a state, he runs his mouth in the congress and his desk...oh and a committee or two. She is an executive, Joe is a legislator. She is a woman, he is a man and Hillary supporters are pissed.
They're going to hit her hard on issues of pay-equity, McCain's votes against domestic violence legislation and pro-life litmus test for USSC nominees. I don't know her positions on these issues, but I presume she's orthodox Republican.
They've got to paint her as a sell-out.
He won't keep all the republicans. There are some out there who won't cotton to the possibility of a woman in the highest office. He won't get all the Hillary supporters. Most Dem, like Repubs, wouldn't change parties if you slapped them upside the head with a brick. He keeps the Republicans and pulls in the Hillary supporters that are mad enough already. Maybe a few others that were riding the fence.
