Jesus said, "The Way of the Prophets is a trail of tears. I have commissioned you to be prophets to this generation. Consequently, they will ridicule and revile you, saying all kinds of bad things about you. What? Don't you know that they have always rejected the prophets whom I have sent among them? Yes, I tell you the truth when I say that even those who follow the prophets do not understand them, for they speak of the things of the Spirit, which cannot be apprehended by the physical mind. The prophet is alone with the Eloheim, for of all mortals, it is he who sees the reality which he cannot convey to his people. Lonely is the Way of the prophet, but if he brings one soul one step closer to Light, all his loneliness and grief is justified, for great will be his joy in the heavenly realm, and he will become a great company at the seat of the Highest."
"And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled" (1 Peter 3:13-14).
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear" (1 Peter 3:15)
I've been watching this thread since your first post, and I simply must ask, "What did you really think you would accomplish here? Was it truly your desire to be an effective witness and disciple for your God, or was it something else? Is it really your objective to give life to 1 Peter 3:15 or are you all about the verses immediately prior.
Did anyone here ask you for the "reason of the hope that is in you?" Or did you just come barging in here ready to condemn people from the word "go" and thump them over the head with Bible verses that they neither believe in nor can relate to?
Have you approached your mission with meekness and fear and with an appropriate sense of humility and (above all) true love and compassion for those who you wish to convert? Or did you come in here as the all too common and pathetic "ambush evangelist" with a spirit of arrogance and superiority who received the very inhospitable reception he deserved?
Of course, now you have the smug satisfaction of suffering for righteousness sake (v. 13 - 14) and you can commiserate with your church friends about how you were persecuted for the Lord on Literotica. Congratulations on achieving nothing.
Let me suggest to you that being "ready always to give an answer" involves a lot more than just memorizing Bible verses to throw at people. If you don't believe me, ask your pastor.
Secondly, if you actually achieve that readiness and deliver your message skillfully and with a true servant's heart, you may find that you have to do a lot less suffering and that you, your God and those you minister to will be a lot happier.
Why not try that next time instead of the nonsense you've been spraying around here?
