Well yet again the speedway got washed out, although we didn't get quite as wet as last time  ICR packed up and left the hill before the heavier rain started, so at least she didn't get a wet bum this time! :D

Hi lushlucid - visiting from the GB? :)

Farted? Well that explains the low lying obnoxious cloud overhead. I wasn't game to let the grandies out today in case they should inhale and fall over!

*lol*

Good evening all *waves to all who are around*

T'was a day of mixed feelings for me. I had to deal with annoying neighbours and crappy phone companies....but I also bought some fantastic new shoes and had a lovely day in the garden. (not wearing my new shoes!)

*edit* ....and looking at my pic - I think I have an excuse to buy new jeans!!

Sydney wasn't as warm as normal, coldest in many years BANDIT:heart: & I were out in it tonight & she was feeling the cold  you'd think a kiwi would think this was still summer.

Ah but I've been in Sydney now for 4 years and my blood has thinned...what used to be a pleasant day in NZ is now bloody chilly!!

It was so cold I certainly didnt relish getting a wet bum again last night.
The bottoms of my jeans got a little wet as I was heading to the car when the heavier rain started and my favourite boots were soaked through.

Ended up coming home, getting changed and heading out with a friend - met some new people from speedway - I wasn't sure what to expect due to things I had heard but decided to judge for myself and am glad I did.
Many bourbons, learning to play roulette and blackjack and lots of laughs later I fell into bed at 7.15am. I'm exhausted!

Those are some very nice shoes Pert! I was doing the shoe shop thing with a friend recently and there are some seriously dodgy looking creations out there!

Agreed! I have long toes so can't wear the pointy ones. (The sales lady was doing a very bad job trying to sell me another pair of which my toes were hanging over the end. )

For once I'm enjoying the cold! Perhaps that is because I've been eating far far too much since my break up and feel hotter with my extra kilos?

Another weekend gone.
G'night all
:rose:

My cat was 18 when we put him down, poor old bugger got cancer in his anal gland. Was a pure breed Redpoint Siamese.

Ah yes the cycle of life, one minute you are a young cat running around eating everything, then you get fussy and don't want to play with anyone and then you've got cancer in your arse....isn't life a mystery

lol its just a big cat:D .. and very different from a lot of other cats she like to play fetch... ok does not bring the ball always but still its funny ..but it made me laugh of what you said :D

oh she is just 16 weeks nows and she grow even more here 2 pics

It seems as cats get older they just want to do their own thing. As for playing fetch, they just look at you as if to say.."who me"..."you threw the fucking thing you go and get it"

I'm not a cat person, but I would have to admit that is a cute cat

Quoted for emphasis....on both comments. (People assume I love ALL cats just because I own one.)

Cats are pure evil-I've had trouble with my achilles for a while now and I thought it was sorted when the damn cat ran between my feet, tripping me and it all flared up again. This was a week before a major running event I'd entered. I still haven't managed to get close enough to the damn feline to choke it with my physio bills! Funnily enough my heal was fine for the run.
