Bot = slang for an AI program on the net. They are usually chat bots designed to produce vapid but plausible conversation. The vapidity is a shield to prevent difficult questions, and the more vapid the bot, the worse the programming.

Thus, if you were a bot, you'd be an impressive bot. Kudos to the programmer, yanno.
 
Oh right ... I know what a bot is although I didn't till a few weeks ago when I started frequenting strange American chatrooms. We don't get them in English ones touch wood

Mr. Eyez is grilling burgers for us tonight (it's in the 60s today! WOOT!). I however am in cookie/brownie marathon mode for my son who has requested a care package.

It sure brings out mine. When I was a child, my fondness for Stouffer's mac and cheese was legendary.

Feisty is good. It's cloudy and rainy like a big wool blanket here today, and my energy is low. A little fractiousness would do me good.

Those are obviously trousers being peeled off.

And I honestly can't explain the Briton/English association with caning without getting deeper into the realms of kink than are likely welcome here.

Don't think so it's his yellow skin and I presume you mean public schools i.e Eton
To those not in the know public schools are posh private ones where the toffs go

Clothes. I'm pretty dire, but even I can't look at that and the smiley shucking skin casually, even for the joy that is the cane applied.

Public schools are part of it, yes.

So what do you call the schools we'd call "public" as in state-run, lower-class regular schools?

Eve's latest thread makes me feel like we should do some sort of related challenge in that vein, but my head's all muzzy today because one of the mates has been diligently trying to share his head cold with me and I think he may have succeeded, dammit.

Not that I'm not still banging on the Sleeping Challenges and some more stuff for the Tzara thread and all, but it's so cool to consider aspects of that. Channeling someone else's poetry, someone else's voice, or deliberately picking something you really DON'T know to write about.

Maybe a Reality Tunnel challenge. Try on the reality tunnel of someone who thinks quite differently or lives differently from the way you do. Praise the glories of chastity or write a "pro-life" poem or write from the point of view of your opposite gender or something. Write about some exotic place you've never actually been, or pretend you're a corporate greedhead bastard, or something.

But perhaps here's a way to simplify and reveal all at the same time. I've tried this before and it's generated some interesting material.

Write a portrait of yourself from someone else's point of view, like your spouse.

Now before we start getting all self-deprecatory, let me remind you that people love you, and they often see things in you that you refuse to value in yourself. So what do they wish you would notice, take pride in, accept, acknowledge?

try that. Try really seeing how wonderful you are, through the eyes of the people who care about you and are sad when you don't recognize how stunningly cool you truly are.

If I'm not around tomorrow (which would SUCK for me cause I love this place) it will be because the tiny virii are making me stay home to kick their collective asses in a more diligent way.

Let us devoutly hope I can just kill the little bastards tonight with some herbs and a hot salt bath.

Wonders what else Homb has in mind do you have some weird box that you are clubbing us all together in? If you can't post it here do PM me and I can yell at you then!

Get well soon Bijou I can see the chefs whizzing up some chicken broth as we speak ... don't think we call other schools anything much lol
