Big stress day today as it's the first time that my new fistula will be used to hook up on dialysis, I've been stressing since monday when we were told today is D day.

Fingers crossed that it works & lasts longer than the last on did.

Seems we find the same assistance product does help in so many ways, just had some stress relief, anti nausia, aches & pain relief treatment myself, wonder now that little johnny jackboots is out of government will we see "POT" as medical treatment come true in Aussie. All my medical contacts are thumbs up on the idea & are fully aware I use it & it help limit the amount of script meds I need to take.

Our ex pm was very anti drugs & when my state wanted to research pot as an approved treatment the federal gov killed that idea off & most likely tax is a more real reason. script meds I was put on all seemed to have very nasty side effects needing more meds to combats the side effects but they too had side effects so I was "GIVEN" some to try & yipee only side effect was sleeping more which for someone with insomnia wasn't a bad thing.

I don't get to that extent, only use minimal amounts to keep my tolerance level down but I do sit here with a silly smile on my face at times.

At night is best after BANDIT goes to bed it allows the voices in my head time to play.

I'm trying to keep an open mind, but there are so many HNGs on the net and on the forums, and they all use the same approach - "Wanna hook up?" It's like walking into a bar and going up to someone and saying "Hi, wanna fuck?"

Would you really do that? It's the same here. Sure, by all means come in, say Hi, get to know us. Don't assume that we're all here because we wanna hook up. Lit and especially this thread is a fun social place. You may get lucky as I and others here did and meet someone special, and good for you IF this happens. At any rate you will make some friends

At least the "Hi, wanna fuck?" approach is honest. But yes also not the way to go unless it's the woman who says it. Not sure how many guys who would say no in that situation. Then again I don't suppose that guys are used to getting hit on either.

Although you know how we say things kind of depends where you are from. When I first encountered Canadians there was one guy who was amazed we Aussies say "lets go mate" he took it literally. So we played it up and convinced him yep if you go up to a girl and say that, it works. It was so funny.

What puzzles me is they keep substances (tobacco and alcohol come to mind) legal when they are actually more toxic/harmful to us than many of the ones which are illegal. Why not make it all legal and collect the tax?

My friends cat will eat ANYTHING - which is why it got to 10 kilos! She's had her (the cat) on a diet and was taking her to the vet for a weigh in tonight. I'm pleased that my cat doesn't have that problem. He's a fussy eater and always leaves his dinner 1/2 eaten.

My cat was 18 when we put him down, poor old bugger got cancer in his anal gland. Was a pure breed Redpoint Siamese.

Well yesterday didn't go as hoped as first needle in went straight through the other side of the fistula, attempt 2 by another person went well as did the next one but for the entire almost 5 hours it hurt . Last night didn't get to bed till almost 4 am & today i'm tired & in pain but getting spoilt by BANDIT .

Pot was originally outlawed because the cotton growers knew it would wipe them out as pot grows everywhere with little care or bug sprays etc like the cotton industry uses, pot makes more durable clothing, ropes, paper & a host of other products. Nothing at all about the drug issue, that came later & even pot propaganda movies which claimed smoking pot turns you into a murderer.

I'm not new to the pleasures of pot although it is used sparingly now & never was to the veg out, it is only to help me cope now.
