My 199th story posted this morning. I'm not published. I do have 14 poems sold, but the website never got their poetry section off the ground. I got paid, but the poems will sit until the folks that bought the rights are able to do something with them.

I had a couple contracts sent to me months ago. I signed them. I have them in an envelope to mail, yet I've not done it. I know the deadline for mailing them for when the publisher wanted them is gone. I don't know why I never mailed them. It is my own fault that the two stories won't be published. I know this and it doesn't bother me. Perhaps I am not cut out to be a professional writer.

I don't like coffee all that much. I used to say I don't like it at all, but recently I enjoyed a cup of White Chocolate Mocha at a local Starbucks. It was good.

I believe you are right about the "timing" and the chaos. It was definitly not a great year to try a new career. I do not want to repeat 2007, thank goodness one isn't expected to.

Yes. The 1st contact was fired, I think the second one quit and the 3rd young lady has been, for the most part, reliable. I do have a bit more control now though, as I am probably their most prolific writer at the moment. I actually average 6 or more stories a month for them now.
