How are ya today?

positively buzzing.

made a decision to lay off the booze about a week ago. that, coupled with meditations to improve psychic protection, and after cleansing my house with incense and salt... the result? i now sleep well. i was disturbed by dreams, have been for the last 6 months or so, and not pleasant dreams either , but things seem to be on the up.

i also have loads more energy and have already salted the drive -- it snowed -- vacuumed the whole house -- three fuggin' storeys -- and done a few paragraphs.

so, how's your day shaping up?

well after reading all that, I think I need to go back to bed for a couple hours!

Seriously, I'm pleased you've decided to deep six the booze. I have issues with sleeping, or rather not sleeping, as the case may be. Different reasons tho.

Three storeys Mine's a two storey, and I thought that was a lot of upkeep. Well, three if you count the walk-up attic, but it's completely unfinished, so I guess that doesn't count.

Anyway, very glad you're doing well.

We got some snow, about five inches overnight, so will have to dig the shovel back out. Thought we were done with that for the winter. so I'll be doing that later this morning. Will boil up some eggs later and help the kids color them tonight.

well, when i say ditched the booze, i had a beer or two on thurs night, and a slug of bailey's in my porridge this morning...



next door is having an easter egg hunt in the garden tomorrow. i musta volunteered to do the barbeque in a weak moment sometime, not that i recall doing so...

have fun with the colouring.

Wow. Busy already.

Sleep was just NOT happening for yours truly and I have to be up in less than an hour. Say I may be zonked tonight, may see what the afternoon holds.

I likely WON'T be around much today. For some reason, the friggin computer tells me I am having trouble my "Local Area Connection". So one of the trips I will have to make is to the Cable store to see if they can help me with this s**t.

I have a lot of errands to do - not all of them I want to do, but life is a bugger. It's supposed to be cold out there, so going to dress for it.

I will be around for a touch more before I call it a day though.

Try losing virtually ALL of your stories, most of my discs just mysteriously pooched one day. I also had the computer erase one disc and replace it with the data that was on another. I suppose that this is minor, but there are many, many days that if I had the money, I'd take a f**king sledgehammer to this thing and buy a new one. I think the company that sold it to me A ) sold me a gigantic piece of shit [ had problems with it Week One ] and B ) gave me some of the cruddiest service I've ever had [ they are now out of business ]

This is a CONNECTION problem though, if I understand that, it is something to do with my server, so I can either call or try to go in and see what happens.

Just smacked my toe too - the one they are doing surgery on in about a week. NOT a good start to another day.

Problem with calling is that I only have a cell and it costs during the Day. I have to go to the Plaza where the Cable Company has an office, so I will go in and handle it there, if I can.

See, even something like "LAN" confuses me. I am about 95% self-taught.

Actually hon, from the weather reporst around here, they are saying next year is looking to be a VERY mild winter. Don't care though, want THIS one over and done with.

I will be outta here soon - I have to catch 3 busses to my first errand. Going to the "Farmer's Market" in a neighboring town.
