Well...the demo attack machine is a bit rusty.

I see them going after the Vietnam Vet and cancer survivor angle. That should win them some votes right away.

paths of glory is a good movie.

Never saw it.

I see the cancer angle and the fifth from the bottom of the class angle. Remember all the talk about Kerry v. Bush as far as who got a higher C average?

fifth from the bottom at the naval academy is nothing to sneeze at. graduating from that school, period, is an accomplishment in and of itself.

Oh, I agree, and I said the same thing about Yale in re: Kerry and Bush. That won't stop people from making political use of it.

you forgot to mention that john FUCKING kerry also did worse then Bush on the military tests

but

the PRESS told us HE was the smart one

McCain came from admiralty. He took advantage of that to act out in school. He wasn't rewarded for his behavior at the time, but it hasn't seemed to have held him back.

Though maybe if he'd studied harder he wouldn't have been shot down?

That's a good combo. I didn't realize Kubrick was working so long agao.

it was one of his early ones. right before spartacus. it's the oldest movie of his i've seen. i think the killing is older, but i've never seen it. there might be another oldie, but i'm drawing a blank.

Yeah, I had no idea:

And, his "joking" public policy of foreign affairs is to sing. "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb,,,Bomb, Bomb Iran..." Then adds a "giggle."

His temper and his humor don't seem like the best combination for a president.

From his web site:

John McCain agrees with retired Army General Jack Keane that there are simply not enough American forces in Iraq.

He plans to do this while also cutting taxes.

He thinks that health care can be made more affordable through competition.

You know, I don't think that I have to be part of Clinton's Attack Machine...

Well...the demo attack machine is a bit rusty.

I see them going after the Vietnam Vet and cancer survivor angle. That should win them some votes right away.

The republicans went after a vietnam vet and it won them the election... Oh, that and the voter fraud.

You're just pissed you didn't think of it first.

The best you could come up with was some half-baked Dubya National Guard fraud that was clearly done with Microsoft Word.

But Dan Rather still stands by his story.
