The thunderstorms flowed through here just as I had to use the toilet, and there aren't any windows in that room here at the office. So I am sitting there praying that the lights don't go out, and on top of that, that if they do go out that my neighbor doesn't show up to chat about the lights being out when I open the door to let some light in...

Pour some baking soda down the drain, followed by vinegar. Let sit and bubble for a while, then follow with lots of boiling water. Of course, if you have to go out to buy the baking soda and vinegar, you'd be just as well off to get the drain cleaner.
