I got sunburned at SeaWorld today. Pretty badly! I forgot that you can still get a sunburn even if you're wearing long sleeves and it's January. Guess that's southern California for you.
 
I think I need to go back home. I miss the beach, people, the ocean, food and well everything.

Yikes. *hugs* Drink lots of water, take a look warm bath, and cover yourself with aloe vera gel. If you can find it, get the kind with lidocain - it'll ease the pain. Also take some motrim - it'll help with the swelling and pain. And be more careful! You can make yourself really sick!

:eek: I know I'm lecturing, but I've handled too many nasty cases of sunstroke to not worry.

Oh, and if you start running a temp go to the ER.

Oh sweetie, thank you! It's not that bad, my face is very pink and my arms are a little pink but it's the kind that will go away in a couple of days and it doesn't hurt. However, I was told by a dermatologist when I was 14 that I must never ever go out in the sun again without the highest sunblock available - family history of skin cancer, very fair skin, many abnormal moles...I was basically begging for a sunburn when I went out unprotected today, even if I didn't think about it!

Meanwhile, I think these suit you very well! :D
