Ropework photos

Now all I need is rida-chan beating me up for not posting them pics, and my day will be complete :D

Homburg-sama .... you know I wouldn't beat you up ... but I was hoping to get one more glimpse of your fine rope-work before heading off for work ...

So ... I'll have to be patient too ... like the rest ... sigh ...

BTW ... the rope in the second tie ... is it ....:D ?

Well, I finally finished the second series. The first is the larger one, and still needs editing, so, tough.

Some notes before I post pics:

1) The first series, which matches the first pic shown above, and is the same young woman as the previous major series, will henceforth be referred to by the nom de lapin of SiouxWarrior. It sort of came about in conversation. She's apparently part American Indian. *shrug* SiouxWarrior is as good a nickname for her as anything.

2) The second series is of a young lady you all have not seen yet. She is a belly dancer, and a great young lady. She's got a wonderful smile too, though it isn't seen well in these photos. Her nickname will be WeatherGirl. Again, conversation.

3) Choose your photographer carefully. You want someone that is neutral to your sunjects, or at least has the same level of interest in each of them. My buddy AP took these shots. He's happy with SiouxWarrior. Veeery happy. He's more neutral towards Weathergirl. As a result, gee. lotsa shots of SiouxWarrior, not so many of WeatherGirl. Irritating. All of my lovely bunnies should be accorded the same level interest and same number of shots. AP will be properly castigated later for failing me *shakes fist*

4) Make sure your photographer is more aware of the background in his shots, and not so focused on the model. There's a LOT of visual noise in these shots. Aggravates me. There's also a number of partygoers in here too. I've obscured their faces much like I did the models. No need for folks to be outed because my photog was sloppy. Next time, I will force issue on background, as the apartment has a really great spot for shooting (which you may se elater with some mor eintimate photos from the third series).

5) Show love to your bunnies. They won't come back for more if you don't give them warm fuzzies and pettins. I  my bunnies and treat them well. I try to make sure they have a good time. this is why you see shots of them smiling. All technical issues aside, the smiles are an important part of the experience.

Onto the tie. This one is a rope corset done with 6mm Japanese yuta rope (courtesy of the lovely rida-chan. So, rida-chan, this tie is dedicated to you, darlin'. Would that you were here for me to have applied it to you ). The additional lacing was inspired by Lee Harrington's work. Lee is awesome, plain and simple. Check his site and book out. Good stuff.

The additional lacing was done with 1/4" nylon like I always use. The corset itself took 20m, and the lacing and strapwork was done with 7m. You can't see it under the skirt, but the lacing starts in the back and proceeds through the legs along the crotch. I was going to tie a "happy making knot" but, well, she was aroused enough as-is, and I didn't want to go too far.

WeatherGirl is married. You'll see a broody chap kneeling in a coupla the later pics. He's her hubby's best friend and her chaperone. She really trusts me, but I was glad he was there anyway. When working with somebody else's gal, it's best to be friends with her protectors :D

We'll start with a smiling shot near the start of the tie. This is the "Honest, officer, it's all consensual" shot.

Yes, she is tiny. She's 5' even and a size zero. Absurdly tiny.

Yes, she really is this slim. And her abs are rock hard. She's not only a belly dancer, but is also a singer. Her tummy is hard.

I love working with live models. Sure, I could tie on mannikins, and I know guys that do practice on them, but you can't have a mannikin hold your working end for you while you get a drink (just kidding, I was getting more rope, and was about 5ft from her)

Here's a solid interim shot of the corset prior to the lacing being done. It stacked up nicely, and the colour is really gorgeous.

Smack your photographer if he decides to go artsy. I'll be slapping mine later.

And the lacing starts

I won't go into how the lacing works. Get Lee's book if you want a good explanation and you can't figure it out from my pics. But here's some photos of me doing the lacing. The last one is the lacing finished, with the working ends still loose.

Here I am working on the straps. This pic also illustrates the size difference. I'm bent over a bit and crouching slightly to work the ropes, and she is still tiny in comparison. Yes, Weathergirl is legal. She is almost 20.

http://www.pixcastle.com/pic/11247ZC4Q3/217539.jpg

Here's where we're trying to decide if the rope should go under the bra or not. I eventually decided to run them under so as to put less strain on her slightly sunburnt nipples. Poor thing. It had nothing to do with any gratuitous titshots, as I didn't even look as she held her bra out and I dropped the rope down behind it. Really. Trust me.

Finished product. though I did change the strapping a bit before she danced.

Side shot
http://www.pixcastle.com/pic/11247ZC4Q3/217543.jpg

Shot with arms down. The straps kept slipping about, thus the change mentioned above.

And, as a reward for everyone's patience, WeatherGirl donned some cuffs and a chain and did a slave dance to some Dead Can Dance. It was good stuff, though the corset did restrict her hip movement a bit.

I think it's cool that the corset held together as well as it did, as she was moving during all this. The back had good structure due to the alternating lacing through bights. The front lacing kept that side of the corset together. Were I to do a corset designed for longer term wear, I would do additional lacing on the sides. Good stuff.

The final shot here is a detail after the rope was removed. She had some lovely rope marks, and I managed to get a fairly good shot of them.

WeatherGirl was a lovely rope bunny to work with. She was a bit restrained during the tie, but, hey, her hubby wasn't there. Hopefully, he'll be able to be there next time, and she can relax more.

As always, questions and comments are welcome. And copyright is asserted over these original works. No distribution without permission of artist and model. Thanks, yo.

Why, yes, it is. Thank you again, lovely. As you can see, I've given credit where it is due. :rose:

I'll post the pics of the lovely SiouxWarrior later. They need editing, as I said, and I'm off to catch a film with AP. And do some slapping and castigating of him too, the bum.

I believe you when you say that you can be patient, mis. I just want to see more of it here.

And, no, I'm not enjoying this. Why do you think that? :D

I'm glad that you'll enjoy them rida-chan. I certainly had you in mind when I was doing that tie.

Thank you Rosie!

SiouxWarrior has lovely musculature as well. He neck is especially elegant and well-made. They are both a joy to work with and on.

Well, your invite to ours is always open. Hell, I'd organise one for you if you were to come down here. You'd enoy it. The people are really great.

-----------------------

Nice ropework, nice bunny. You've got my stamp of approval!

Thank you, DB! The lapin in this particular shot is such a great girl too. She's a whole lot of fun, smart, and oddly mature as well. Another reason why I didn't mind the 19yr old thing. While she plays the ditzy young thing around most people, but she's always relaxed around me. I like that.

And can I get that stamp of approval in writing? It'll look good on my Top's resume :D

Consider it a promise. If you get out here, it WILL happen. I am shameless about strong-arming things like this.

Just give me at least a little bit of notice. Otherwise the party is likely to be me, "v", and AP :D

Still working on SW's photos. I will let you all enjoy WeatherGirl for a little while longer before I post the next set. Don't want to overwhelm anyone's delicate sensibilities :D

And SW asked me how my search for a rope bunny was going, and had a certain glimmer in her eye. My, that would be a nice acquisition, eh?

I figure the shaved dome and goatee already makes me look pretty important. Maybe the gold seal will be too much?

(The first SW series looks pretty darned good, I must say.)
The shaved dome and goatee makes you look scary and imposing. Not important. My gold stamp will make you look important though.

Besides, you can't go wrong with gold. Except gold lame underwear. You can easily go wrong with those.

Bother. Gold seal it is then.

Luckily I have nothing even approaching gold lame in my wardrobe.

Finally got a moment (ok, I TOOK the moment ...) to look at the pics and ...
I am drooling all over! Good thing my collegue has already left ...

The corset looks great! The bellydancer is lovely! The rope looks really good too :D

Getting back to your pictures, even thou the photographer got "artsy", I really like this one:

http://www.pixcastle.com/pic/11247ZC4Q3/217534.jpg

I think it capture very well the level of concentration and care you put in your rope-work (plus, I"ll confess ... I like seeing you work with rope ... :rose:).

I have been wanting a corset for a while... I think I am going to get myself some nice yuta rope and practise tieng myself up in one ... so I get to catch one birds with two stones

(I know the saying is two birds with one stone ... but trust me... if you ever saw me trow anything ... you'll understand ... ;))
