Lost

for tonight...

‘D.O.C.’
After learning that the Others' pregnant women all died before giving birth on the island, Sun allows Juliet to examine her; Desmond allows an unlikely nemesis to help save the life of a new, mysterious island inhabitant.

No school this week so I might actually be able to stay awake and watch the entire episode tonight instead of taping it and watching it on the weekend! I'm excited.

Why didn't the Russian guy die? WTF?

What significance will the phone play?

Who is the new girl and why is she there? (Thats not scary spice is it??)

The plane was found, no survivors? Wow.

Juliette's note to Ben... "I hate you" I bet that was captured on camera

So are they in purgatory as I've thought or they going to explain away that whole "the plane was found, no survivors" bit... wait, actually more accurately they probably won't even mention it again.

The producers had promised a bombshell that would dramatically alter the storyline, etc. I think we got it last night with the revelation from the parachutist.

The producers have also said they are definitely NOT in purgatory or heaven or any kind of afterlife scenario. They said that during the first season.

The Man made a suggestion about last night's episode...He suggested that perhaps the pilot's comment about them all being dead might have been one of Hurley's hallucinations - like Dave's appearance on the island.

How did the Russian guy that Loche threw into that electric fence survive?

Others have died on that island

I think it has more of a hint into the Hanso Foundation's omnipotent abilities. If they could cure cancer, get detailed background info on every passenger on that flight, own a sub to get people on and off of that island, etc., why couldn't they fake a crashed plane in the middle of the ocean ?

Yeah, and the series was only supposed to last for 3 seasons.... they didn't hold too well to that either.

Yeah, but that's about money... can you blame them?

re

I don't remember them ever stating it would only last 3 seasons, I only remember them saying after season 2 that it would end after 4. As a producer/creator you hope it makes it to 3 seasons because you can then sell off the syndication rights and make lots of money.

If they say all the passengers all died, nobody would come looking. The people on the island are all Guinea Pigs....

So let me get this straight, all illnesses can be cured by the Island.

All sperm counts go UP on the Island.

Chicks will die if they get pregnant on the Island.

Sometimes if you die on the Island, you say thank you and come back just as good or better than you were?

WTF?

Fury :rose:

Maybe that Russian lad didn't die. The fence is meant to repel. It'll hurt if you touch it, or go through it, and since it's so painful, the designers reckoned nothing would try to break through. Soooo, Mr. Russia is given a terrible headache, but is able to keep on keeping on after he recovers.

If the island raises the dead, we'll get to see Paolo and Nikki(?) climb out of their grave, and tussle over diamonds.

Or, the Others have treatments to allow them to survive things that would kill normal humans, some type of injections or pills. You could take a hit from a sonic fence, but not a bullet to the heart.

tonight...

‘The Brig’
Locke breaks away from the Others to try to persuade Sawyer to help get rid of a common nemesis; a new island inhabitant discloses shocking information about the survivors' flight.

I also found this from another site...

The Doc has seen ''The Brig,'' and declares it a tease-proof zone -- and can't wait to read your comments in the morning.

In which tonight's episode of Lost is previewed with a cryptic quote from one of the executive producers.

Tonight, the show finally returns to John Locke and his felonious, duplicitous, I-like-to-toss-my-annoying-children-out-the-window father. I have seen the episode. I think it's sensational. I could tell you stuff. But I don't think that would be the right thing to do. More than any other episode this season, ''The Brig'' deserves to be experienced with an unspoiled mind. Damon Lindelof, executive producer of Lost, feels the same way: '''The Brig' is tease-proof. I literally don't want to give away ANYTHING this time. I'll make up for it next week.''
