That actually makes sense Brioche. I know how you feel, I have a few friends who problems with certian words for teh same reasons. Whilst I know others who use them only as words of endearment, always have ignored when they haven't been used that way around them, and so have no problem with them. Guess it' all comes down to how you've reacted to them being used in the past, and there's no "right" way about it :)

I fully understand.

"Cunt" is like "Bitch" - a word that I never use except in very special circumstances with bottoms that will understand it as a word of endearment. I have learned much about those words and about "pretend" subs by using them before check them out. I remember one event when I spoke "On your knees, Bitch!" that ended a hot play session - I now say that she was more a bottom then a sub, but that is a discussion for some other some other thread.

Thanks for this thread, I did not need as coffee as usual today.

That's really interesting. I've had some males, where when I've said "I'm a randy little bitch -- SAY IT" will throw back the edited version "I'm YOUR randy little bitch..."

Part of me gets annoyed at the presumption and part gets annoyed at the lack of exact repetition, but overall I do appreciate the attitude and it does something for me. Not every submissive is necessarily bitch and ho material, also.

When I was willing to serve I never understood the glee that people had about these words personally. I'm already placing myself beneath you, I'm already caternig to your every desire, I'm moving through the world with as much dignity as I possibly can so people think highly of YOU -- how does that make me a slut? I mean if you have to insist, I'll nod and agree, but honestly my gut response was always "this is kind of stupid."

I never was particularly good submission material, maybe the inability to respect anyone whose intellect had NOT been vetted to the point where I knew they knew I thought it was stupid and were tweaking my buttons rather than just on auto Dom "you, woman, you SLUT" mode. That would be sophistictaed cruelty, and I've only played with one person who was able to do it to me.

But to pull it away from hijack mode.

Cunt. I love the word cunt. I like to refer to any hot and available hole as cunt. Sexually oriented human toys - cunt, cunt cunt. Anything you put in a pair of panties is magically transformed into cunt. Cunt defies gender, it's the fuck-me impulse itself.

Am I not good submission material because I demand intelligence and intellect in a future partner? I don't think so. I'm very clear about that right from the start. So yeah, any use of pejoratives would be to tweak my buttons. I didn't actually consider there might be another use, to be honest, despite the asshats that have come my way with that very attitude. My favourite was the one that told me the problem was I was too educated. But YMMV. Plus you're Netz, so...

Words are just words, and our experiences imbue them with meanings. You've assigned a salacious and sexy meaning to "cunt." My experiences have left me with a negative reaction to it. Considering fully, that's not to say that I couldn't eventually overcome my gut-reactions - but they're not wrong. It's just another side of the coin.

I don't understand? Because I do not want to be called a cunt I am a pretend sub? Thank goodness I have a pretend Dom then..he has never called me one. In fact, I don't think I have ever heard his say it when referring to body parts... much less people.

And yes, for the record I am grumpy today.

Sorry - that is not what I meant at all. I was talking about only that one woman, as I look back at her now I would call her a "pretend sub". Only her in this reference, there was much more about her behavior that leads me to that conclusion. Her reaction to "On your knees, Bitch!" is something I have never forgotten and I take full responsibility for my own actions that helped set that up response from her.

I was making no comment or judgment about anyone else's relationship to those words. Sorry for that lack of clarity in my posts.

Oh God, no. It makes it more difficult. For me though, it was kind of a test, more or less impossible to pass, put in place to more or less uh, control the interaction. A lot. Not exactly compatible with submission.

i took it the same way at first, but i somehow do not think that's how he meant it. anyway, onto the discussion at hand. the word cunt, i do not like, at all really. i'm not sure what about it that makes me cringe but i do every time i hear it. maybe it's because it's the name my ex called me when he pissed off at me *shrugs* but i have no problem being called 'whore' 'bitch' 'slut' by Master..though if He were to call me these things just because instead of in the context of a scene or something i'd probably just stand there with a 'wtf' look on my face. so maybe it's all in the way they are used??? BUT..just go back to what shankie said 'on your knees bitch' or something like it, defiantly gets me wet and will end in a very intense scene, when He says that especially when He comes up behind me and whispers it in my ear that 'voice' that i love so much , i know i'm going to see His more sadistic side at that point. *smiles* anyway, all of this rambling was to say that i agree, that i don't like the word 'cunt' to be used to describe me...but i love the word over 'pussy' or any of the others to refer to my femaley part *grins* ;)

'fraid not, they record a series in a week. TBH I think that is photo-shopped as I have seen it many times but she's always in different clothes, there is a video of her with 2 vicars as the contestants spelling an elongated version of it but I really cant see that it is not setup, they would NEVER have broadcast it as it is the one word we are still not allowed to use on British terrestrial TV.

Same here. I don't think it's a censure on the word itself, more the way it has been used in my (our?) past.

Shank ... good god ... I LOVE those panties!! :nana:

Okay, I had to turn sigs back on so I could see what all of the fuss over Shank's panties was about. Love 'em. :)
