🔮 What are you doing right now? 🔮

That sounds so cosy, and that fireplace looks amazing too

It is an amazing, and greedy, fireplace.. or oven would be the right term.
- It is a Finnish mass oven, yes you can cook in the top, that is an actual oven place and oh gosh, yes the food taste amazing!!!!!

But it is greedy, to get the full effect.. you need to load it with 16-25 kg firewood once a day. 😅

And then it keeps the whole house warm and toasty.

Now... I just need to get this fire going! (Damp wood)

Youre in the perfect place for a wood fire. Bet that oven makes a great pizza.

That's awesome!

My favourite might be potatoes.. nothing tastes like potatoes roasted over open fire.

Duck and chicken are awesome as well!

Pizza.. I mean: yup, as authentic as it can be. 🤩

In need of wood you say?

Thick, long, hard wood?

Mhnn.. yes please, I want to make it burn - burn and turn into ashes for me. 😏

Make it a slow burn. Let it sizzle. It will last longer.

No, it needs to burn intensely - but not so fast that the heat gets sucked out the chimney.

It needs to burn cleanly, high temps and moderately fast to fast.

That way it will generate enough heat to warm up the bricks (the mass) around the oven.
- It is the bricks/mass that keeps the house comfortable warm.

Not the fire itself, that I need to control (airflow), that is also why I have to burn 16-25 kg each time.
Otherwise it will not generate anything near the temperatures needed to warm up the mass.

When the mass is truly warm, it will stay that for up to 72 hours.
... it also takes a lot to warm up if it has cooled down completely.

Getting a cold oven fire going, that sucks! 😂

This woman knows how to make a fire and stoke it and keep it burning warm for hours! 🥵

Your knowledge in the matter is appreciated. A lady that knows how to start a fire and maintain it. It’s a beautiful art the way you frame it. Let me see if I understand this.

It needs to burn hot intense to the touch but the pace needs to be a steady climb. If you go to slow you might lose it, if you feed it too much wood you may cool it. However, if you do it just right the sensation…ahem..warmth may just last for days

Making it burn with control.. forcing it to give me everything I need.. restricting the need to explode before I am satisfied..

Yeah, I got some skills.. 🔥😏
I think you started one of those fires here remotely! 🥵

Make it burn, under your control, giving you the warmth you desire until you melt.

Mhmm.. making it burn for me, truly a beautiful thing. 🔥😏
Truly deeply beautiful for certain! Looks nice and cozy! 🥰

It’s beautiful but I’m so distracted by the legs and feet- one foot has a sock, the other has none, two different color pant legs… are those legs of two different people? 😂
I couldn't help but wonder the same thing! 😂
