Want to pay down the debt? Return taxes to pre-Reagan levels. That's the only way it's going to happen.

Only someone still emotionally wounded from the DOGE roller-coaster would think "just raise taxes to 1970s levels" is a serious economic plan. If your entire strategy boils down to "tax everyone back into stagflation," maybe you should sit this one out and let the adults talk.
