They were from a costume for a show we were doing and my girl friend - emphasis on the space, sadly - was trying to prove I wouldn't be able to.
I managed, barely, but it was extremely uncomfortable.

Important pro-tip: The higher your shoes, the higher you are when you straddle a guy's lap, allowing you to have more control.

At a time when my regular job was paying me 5.15/hour the housekeeping gig was paying me $20/hour. The undressed rate was, if I recall correctly, about $500 on the last day I did it. The first day was about $250. Normally they paid me about $100/day for about 4 and a half hours of work.
