Axial tilt - don’t like the sound of that!

Evening all - did we have a good day and did everyone leave their duvets eventually?

Ugh... Yes, left the duvet. Relaxing is not really my strong point anyway.

Well, all in all I actually had a quite efficient day, except for: "the dryer dying on me" incident. 🧺
But I managed to order some hopefully warm and comfortable socks! 🙈

What about you?

I once bought Alpaca socks ….. great until I washed them!

Good day thanks - had a lovely late lunch and catch up with a long term friend

To be honest, we’re not even convinced there’s a sky at all this time of year in these parts.

I’m sure they said on telly the cloud cover would stuff any chances of seeing it from SE England (sadly)

The sun is rather active, we will get other chances.

Same..I am sure the blue sky was a fake memory.. 😅

Yes, the rain is passing north of Sjælland in a long snaky sort of weather front. :(

Under different circumstances I would probably have been out chasing the light, but alas it is a normal school day tomorrow, and even though I might not get a full night's sleep - it is still better than of I had been out driving for hours.

And, no sleep turns me into an extremely grumpy zombie penguin.

Well.. yeah - but the weather is being Danish, so I have not seen the blue sky, the sun or any stars for 4 days now..

The aurora is surely just teasing us all. 🙈
I've always called this type of weather Scanian weather (Skånskt väder), but it was once East Denmark so yes, Danish weather it is!

I saw the inside of my eyelids?

Godmorgen! 😻

God morgen!

Nope had a long day yesteday, so I was in bed sleeping :)

Same - my fluffy down duvet ate me... It is not that I did not want to chase the light, but.. I could not!

It was like being eaten by a big, wonderful and warm flødeskumskage! (It makes sense, I promise!)

Also, the prospect of a minimum 1,5 hour drive each way - with no promise of the weather getting better, that was not exactly something that made me do a happy dance. 🙈😅

Oooh, that sounds yummy enough to lick the cream off! 😂

I am gonna stay in my flødeskumskage duvet as long as possible!

I still have to experience the aurora in person. Living in the city with no car doesn't always make it easy.

But quite a few years ago I had the pleasure of doing some star gazing in the outback near Uluru, without any light pollution at all, that was amazing

flødeskumskage - Has to be the word of the day if not the week!

Didn’t get to see anything myself so it’s still on the bucket list.

Morning all

Of course, the sky is beautifully clear here this morning… 12 hours too late! 😂
