In the Garden of Light and Shadow

Had we but world enough and time!

I tend to lean to the Carpe Diem school, but I certainly know a few. Give me a moment to collect you a bibliography.
*whimper* Bibliography... 🤤

Michael Faudet, Nikita Gill, Lang Leav, Kirk Diedrich, Tyler Knott Gregson, Rupi Kaar...

Then help fill the shelf above my bed with words you've penned or found. Don't make me do all of the work. 🤪

I would also suggest Eloisa to Abelard by Pope, but I am not finding a link I like and it is very long.

I have a few more contemporary pieces in my mind, but it looks like you know the contemporary field better than I, and those that I do know aren't easily available online.

If you want to go back further and stray from eroticism, Alfred Noyes wrote my favorite poem of all time- The Highwayman.

If its listening to you, I'll take it
Lies! Such lies.

What would I gain from lying to you. A person with a reading voice and artistry that demands nothing but truth to be spoken
Boobs. It would get you boobs, probably.
Truth is a duel edged blade, one best kept sheathed till needed and drawn carefully.
I cannot think of a better way to spend my evening than listening to you read Noyes. It has been a long time since I read The Highwayman.
I'll put you to sleep.
Instead, revisit it within your own realm. Hear the cadence of hoof beats in your chest and the languid roll of words off the tongue. Ah, poor Bess...

I can guarantee that you did not put me to sleep. Though I find my hand on my favorite book of poetry reading now thanks to you.

Not going to lie boobs are great but why hide the truth of what you are sharing when there is nothing to lie about
