I thought about something on my jog this morning and want to quickly address it.
My comment about ICE may have rubbed some of you the wrong way.
I am unabashedly a very liberal person who believes in equal rights for everyone, not only in this country, but throughout the world. I dont care if you are Black. Or Latino. Or White. Or Asian. You/we are all equal in my eyes.

Those of you who believe differently, yes, what you stand for and probably voted for, goes against so many different things I believe in.

BUT

I try to make this thread apolitical.
Once in a while I make a remark that shows how I feel, and like I said, you all probably already knew my political and ideological beliefs and morals and such soon after visiting my thread.
But I TRY to stick to sports and music and movies and books and video games and food and travel and post content to make your blood flow...not boil.

So I apologize if any of you were thinking along the lines of "Here she goes again..."

I do have a friend here that you have all seen that is MAGA, but we dont talk abouit politics. Its already impacted our friendship and we arent quite as friendly as we once were, but we have moved past it.
I am sure a few others of you have radically different beliefs than I and maybe dont want to share it because youll be afraid of losing my friendship.
That is fine.

Anyway, just wanted to apologize for my remark since while I agree with what I said, it wasnt the place for me to say it by my own rules.

You're fine, Kit....well you're fine of course but in this case you are fine as well.
I try to keep my views private only because I don't come on here to talk politics.
Having grown up near DC my whole childhood until I left to go into the military, I heard a bunch and since then my views have changed somewhat.
Having a special needs kid and a very liberal kid does help. So did marrying a free spirit that challenged me at times.
I have mellowed a bunch since then and find myself voting with my heart and trying to be better for everyone.

If you could take one negative about yourself and turn it into a positive but also had to take a positive about yourself and make it a negative, would you, and if so, what would you change?

I dont know if anything is specifically a positive or a negative per se. I am unabashedly me. Of course there are things that some might say, including myself, that I would wish there was more of or less of (I can be too loud, too stubborn, too sarcastic), but if I "reduced" those, perhaps some part of what makes me ME might lessen...and only if they really had hurt someone would I actively take note and corrective measures.
So Ill give a cheese answer perhaps? I am a bit too health-driven probably. I dont mean with what I eat. I mean with the time I spend on working out and such. A doctor would say thats a positive. A potential partner might say its a negative. But I could use that extra time to have for friends, or do lots of other things that I want or need to do (play more music, read more, get some chores done, be with my dog, sleep...whatever).
 
Back after 6 weeks... and I'm 200+ pages behind. Yep, that’s a Kit thread. Got more stamina than half the site.

Kit, there's only one thing that grows faster than your thread...

Alright... stretching, hydrating... time to catch up. 😈💪📖

Never ever sacrifice your gym time or workout time for your partner for longer period.
I never do it again.
Your health and health related routines are the most important.
