It was blowback for last November. Anyone who didn't see it coming is blind. Not only did the R's field untenable candidates (it's NEVER "your turn" Ms. Sears, you have to earn it) but those candidates screwed their own campaigns (Jack; next time don't tell the voters you're going to take away their candy and soda and expect them to vote for you. That's a stupid mistake you've made twice in a row now) in the face of that push back.
Even Prop 50 passing here in Ca was expected because dumb people thought it was a national proposition to prevent Trump from stealing Democrat seats in all 50 States. Add in the Anti-ICE unrest and the election results were totally expected. Or should have been.
The real issue is whether Mamdani being elected Mayor of NYC will cause enough of a mess to affect the Mid Terms next November.
