Really terrible candidates for the New York mayor, I don't like either, but Mamdami made some tone dead statements about Septmeber the 11th that I thought were abhorrent, so I hope he loses the race.
As an Irish person, I have no dogs in the fight, but I really care about America and think it is a great country and Mamdami is always complaining about it. Doesn't seem a smart thing to do.

Back in September, they noted that in the primaries Mamdani had 42% support from so-called "Reform Jews" while 88% of so-called "Orthodox Jews" supported anyone other than Mamdani,
This was essentially unchanged in the general election: Borough Park (largest concentration of "Orthodox Jews" in America voted 86% for sex pervert Andrew Cuomo and Crown Heights (the largest concentration of "Reform Jews" in NYC and much larger than Borough Park) gave 43% of their votes to Mamdani.

In the interest of fairness, I looked up the NYC neighborhood with the highest concentration of people of Arabic descent. Bay Ridge was the largest, they voted 45% Mamdani and 41% Cuomo. I’m heartened by the fact that in the middle of a historic Democratic blowout, Mamdani was only able to squeak out a narrow win against an opponent as weak as Cuomo. I think his antizionism hurt him badly.
