It's really annoying to be tasked with educating ppl who simply don't want to learn. In the case of some doctors, they think any education they get from someone they consider "inferior" is not worth their time.

Then, when they're held accountable by their department chair or the CEO, they would claim they were never educated. I ALWAYS kept the sign in sheets with the class ppt, notes, and objectives. I would then just forward them to the CEO/department chair when I was called on the carpet.

The recalcitrant ones learned I wasn't going quietly under the bus...

On the tools front, I'm shopping (not vigorously, mind you) an anvil. I will like as not need an Irish wheel at some point. I will have to build a steel work table, too, for Very Heavy Projects. Good thing is, I have several cars that I will scrap after I loot the parts, and their frames can go into the Reusable Steel pile. These anvils had some serious frames on them, maybe the best outta Deeetroit at the time.

Good, old-school anvils are hard to find.

I caught up. So good morning denizens of the diner. It is Halloween. Yesterday my daughter took me to the children’s hands on museum and I watched while my nonverbal autistic grandson had blast. All the kids were running wild so he fit in perfectly. My daughter is the best.

I came home and took a nap after all that energy .

I need to find 2 recipes: one for roasted radishes. The other recipe is for homemade granola where I used molasses.

I read this just now. Hope the flight was OK. I read there were issues with schedules because of Melissa.

It was a mix of not enough air traffic controllers and rainy, windy weather.

Every single flight from Toronto was canceled… then miraculously they lifted the ground halt right around 5:30 PM and we took off slightly delayed around eight.

Toronto is actually pretty close to Newark-only an hour and 20 minute flight!
