May I ask why You watch this every year?Day 7: A spooky television show or movie you re-watch every year
Typically we watch it more around Christmas than Halloween, but that wasn't the prompt. It's spooky and we re-watch it.

That movie poster is super creepy! I enjoyed the film. It definitely inspired many horror movies to come.Day 7: A spooky television show or movie you re-watch every year.
I know a lot of people don't like it, but I think it improves with each viewing.

Spoilers aheadDay 6: What would your reimagining of a spooky classic movie be?
Not an adaptation of the ones we all know and love, but a reinterpretation using the basic elements from your favorite movie... with a twist!π
I'm looking forward to this one!
I actually do like The Shining, it was just too realistically scary in a lot of ways for me to ever rewatch it.Day 7: A spooky television show or movie you re-watch every year.

I will deny this attack simply because part 1&2 go together seamlessly and part 2 begins at the very next shot part 1 ended on (basically). Making it, essentially, one long movie.
AllOnly one choice! Shall I use all of these or just one?

Hmmm.Day 7: A spooky television show or movie you re-watch every year.![]()
Yikes! Rather vague and so sinister. Good choice!Peter thins them out.
They made a movie called Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare this year. I haven't seen it and reviews are trash but it exists lolDay 6: What would your reimagining of a spooky classic movie be?
Peter Pan. There is a line from the original book: βThe boys on the island vary, of course, in numbers, according as they get killed and so on; and when they seem to be growing up, which is against the rules, Peter thins them out; but at this time there were six of them, counting the twins as two.β
Peter thins them out. That line, a throw away that is never referenced again, has stuck with me for decades, Peter is pretty fucking scary to begin with, so a story from the stand point of a Lost Boy who is suddenly being hunted down would make an outstanding horror film. Maybe escape from Neverland, and having Pan stalking him when he feels he is safe.
Yes, itβs part of the Pooniverse. I love saying Pooniverse. Peter, Popeye, Winnie, Steamboat Willy, Bambi, etc. all are in the public domain, all are being turned into horror movies in, thatβs right, the Pooniverse. They made a movie called Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare this year.
