Hello.

My first time do add a story here and clicked the link but it appears "404 error" to be honest on my history are people older characters of eighteen years.

I'm kinda new to do upload here.

What link? Where did you find the link? Were you notified that the story was published?

There's an issue with stories going into pending and going nowhere. Happened to me and I've nbeen here 10 years so it's not that you're new LOL

Delete ths story (I assume you didn't write it on LIT LOL). Resubmit as a new story with a Note to Admin ("Story Pending from (date) to (date). I have deleted and submitted as a New Story") - seeing as you're a first time author, give it 5 days or so in pending and if its not published, bring it up on the thread below

See this thread - if you continue to have issues post here https://forum.literotica.com/thread...f-your-story-and-when-submitted-here.1641620/

What surprises me are the "tons" stories that go live each day in the erotic section with typos, grammar issues, misspellings and generally poor construction while mine (and many others) remain in the deep dark anus of the pending queue.

I think in this cases it'a code glitch of some sorts rather rather than the typos and grammar.

Seems like a subset of stories are just going into a pending black hole and staying there.......

I 100% agree that it is an issue with the antiquated CMS system. Currently I have 1 non erotic story still pending. But what does surprise me - if human eyes go over the story why are they approving crap stories; and by that I mean structure not content

Presumably because Laurel doesn't have time to do a detailed edit of every story published. One person. Thousands of stories.

That's a crap excuse for what's happening. Be so for real.

I've said this before. The site exists because writers post their content here. the web traffic that makes the site RELEVANT is because of the content creators. And the platform is treating the content creators like crap with all this. Wether it's a bug or a lack of staff or simply lack of giving a fuck doesn't matter. It needs to be fixed and addressed. This is wild.

Are you volunteering?

We have no idea what Laurel's cashflow is like.

I said nothing about cashflow. I said site traffic and relevance. I'm speaking as the creator consumer that is affected by the issue. It not my job to figure it out. Nor anyone in these forums.

If they wanted more people they could have solved that I'm sure. The community would step up if they only asked but as other have pointed out, we have no insight into the issue so we can only guess and specualte whats wrong.

But I agree that it must be resolved, othervise we will sadly loose authors to other sites.

What people keep forgetting is that the site publishes between 150 - 200 submissions per day. There's no shortage of authors, no shortage of content. I agree, it's shitty for those who are getting their stories rejected for various things, or not getting rejected at all (just sitting there), but the loss of writers to other sites is barely a blip on the radar.

If I'm not mistaken, most people are complaining and are frustrated because Laurel and/or Manu are not updating us as to why some people's work (including my own) ends up in the pending queue, aka limbo purgatory, without ever seeing a pair of human eyes while stories/poetry submitted later get posted quickly.

It's incredibly frustrating, I'm sure. That's one thing @Laurel could do: communicate better. And should, in my arrogant opinion.
