Been pending for 24 days

I have had a story now pending for 24 days. It was said to wait a little longer now with the new submission load but I just wanted to see if it was a glitch or something.

Wish I knew. One of mine has been pending about that long as well and I've sent all manner of support messages trying to see if its a glitch or if its just in the queue. Radio silence.

I had a story pending for 3 weeks. I thought its a bug and re-submitted , but its stuck again for 4 days.

I've just given up trying to contact anyone at this point because there's no communication on their end. Sucks that this is one of the better sites I know about where I can post these kinds of stories. Just wish there was more communication

Since they seem to be 2 persons running it I think that the 'no communication' policy is for the sheer amount of work it is to also have all those messages piling in on top of the regular work on the site.

This is not bragging, but a data point: my buddy Eddie (of the Writing Group) uploaded a story today. It was published hours later, will appear on Saturday.

They actually approved it one time when I left a comment on my own story with the link to fictionpress (I ended up deleting it)
But I was talking about readers/authors, not site runners

When a story is flagged by the system I imagine that it ends up in another pile that has to be more manually sorted. Your friend didn't end up in that so it went smooth. Glad to hear that not all stories end up in the mega-pile(TM)

A "flagged" story/poem/audio goes into the "Sent back" pile. The author has three options - do nothing, delete it, or edit it . If edit is chosen and the story/poem/audio is resubmitted, it goes to the bottom of the submitted pile. HTH

Thanks God! I thought it was just me. An update I submitted on 21st August is still pending, even though a story I submitted on the 23rd was published on the 25th. A further chapter I put in 3 weeks ago is still 'Pending'. Multiple messages and emails have gone unanswered. Has Literotica fired its staff?

When I ment flagged I meant they have to take a closer look because of automate systems and not the 'sent back' pile. But yes, those are the option when it ends up in the 'sent back' instead of pending.

Can't work out what's going on. After I submitted my update (6 weeks ago), I submitted a new chapter - and it was published in 2 days! But the update hasn't moved, and a subsequent chapter has been sitting there for 4 weeks. If they don't fix this in a couple of weeks, I'm going to have to start taking my stories down and publishing them elsewhere.

I did. I don't think the problem is a (single) bug; it's the entire system. It's 25 years old.
