SWMBO drug me to concert last night. New Country Pop (NOT my cup-o-tea) but the band was tight, the little gal was pretty and they put on a good show.

Went twice when I lived there. I’m usually of the the mind of been there done that, move on to the next adventure. Oktoberfest? I’ll take a redo!

We are having an oktoberfest festival in the town next door this saturday. I am volunteering with lions club. And i am making baked goods to sell at hs music booster festival on ssne day. Just bars and maybe some fudge... easy stuff

I do love me some Schimidts…I also love the Hofbrau Haus when I’m in town. I have to flip a coin…Bahama Mamma’s or Saurbraten?

So I knocked out my 3 miles today…right on the nose…but I get interrupted by a call from my mother.

She’s stuck in her room because the kids (moved in with her last year, to save money for a house) are all sick and she doesn’t want to catch their pox, so she wants me to come set up a spare coffee machine, hot plate and cooler for Half-n-Half and water. .

OK…no problem momma…but then it gets better.

She’s going out to the shed to get a ladder so she can CLIMB IN AND OUT OF THE WINDOW…so she doesn’t have to interact with and catch a cold. ‍.

What the actual fuck momma?!

I go over and talk her off the ledge…literally. OK…she wasn’t on the ledge…but she was dead serious! I don’t know if the Oxy is kicking in too hard this a.m. or if she’s being a drama queen?

I’m ready to buy a boat and sail to China…
