Based on what happened today, I think I'm going to start carrying all the time. In our pissant little town never felt the need before today. But things are changing everywhere now. The young'uns not disciplined properly are getting out of control. But now they're big enough when shit goes down you can't just spank 'um.

I had a friend that was on a destroyer in WW II. His ship was hit by a kamikaze at the battle of Okinawa. It was not a bad hit and parts of the plane were taken by a machinist and made into rings. He had one and wore it all the time.

Thanks Lili. My grandmother was the local feral cat rescue lady. She had indoor cats on and off, but always had a ton of freeloaders hanging around that she’d feed and patch up after kitty benders. They were never the cute and cuddly types. The cats up at the farm were hardened barn cats that wouldn’t let you near them. If you saw the size of rats you’d understand. I grew up with a healthy respect of and no particular love of cats.

Our cat OTOH was awesome! Never shredded curtains, was always good to the kids. Even when they stepped on his tail or pulled his ears when they were babes. He didn’t deserve to go out like that, and I’ve always felt responsible…

Was going to take a little car trip down to Charleston to get SWMBO out of the house. She’s been cooped up and having to mentally juggle our various med issues. She’s getting…frayed around the edges. I tried to send her on the Big-Ol’-Jet airliner back to TX, but there’s just more drama there so she hard passed.

Been hot…wish it would cool off more. Ye Ole’ Country MZ——everyone have a great start to the weekend!

Yep…I’ve put it off for many moons. I never much worried about CCL as growing up, you just understood most men were locked and loaded when traveling around. With the laws as they are, and as you say, based on everything going on, It’s time to go full time…

B2 you’re doing yeoman’s work in her stead, but I agree, her wit is first rate. She’s like the older sister that comes in and straightens the rest of us rowdy siblings out when we’re getting to rambunctious! I freely admit, I might be a little scared of her!

By design... I remember when you could punch someone in the face over a disagreement and it cost you getting hit back, or $65 for misdemeanor "simple assault."
Now, it's potentially a felony "hate crime" and a civil suit, from someone claiming it messed them up for life.
