Jimmy "The asshole" Kimmel tossed off thd air.

What we all need to remember is that the 'important' leftards in Congress and on the news, and the insignificant leftists here on these forums are all just lying and 'circling the wagons' against the simple fact that their repeated attacks on conservatives, calling them fascists and Nazis and calling Trump Hitler has had the desired effect of causing unhinged followers to commit the kind of violence that we see all too often.

If these Dem 'elites' are so so smart, than you can be assured that this would be the effect of their hateful, anti-American words.

You leftfucks cannot weasel your way out of this simple truth, no matter what bullshit rhetoric you use now to deflect your own blame.

You keep on ducky wannabe. Constantly carry the narrative that will fail.
It wasn't FCC more than asking if they wanted to deal with it or experience a slow death. The prick said what he said. He is supposed to be a comedian and did not laugh when it was supposed to be funny. Because it wasn't funny. He stated it with malice. Fuck him.
Looks like ABC silenced Whopie and beyhar so they didn't lose their show either. But it is coming. Their ratings suck. This is an easy way out for them.
I am not associated with 'Ducky' nor a 'ducky wannabe.' That's your first mistake in posting your not-so-funny jab.

This isn't about a comedian's ratings or a comedian's popularity with audiences. It's another breach of the government's attempts to control political and social narratives. In other words, it’s about free speech. Trump claimed in his inaugural address that he would restore freedom of speech. These actions clearly show he did not intend to do that. It is one among thousands of lies told to date.

When did the FCC get the right to determine what is or is not funny? The FCC chair took his marching orders from the felon's comments, which suggested that no one should be able to make fun of him. That's what started these questionable actions against companies. Threats that the FCC might have to step in and take action. The fear factor stepped in, and the associations with Comedians went out the window in favor of corporate dollars. That's called coercion, the acts of mob bosses shaking down merchants to get their way. Trump gloats tonight and gleefully said others should face the same fate... but that's up to the chair, he said. Typical mob boss response. Wash his hands and give the hit job to an underling, knowing he would march to his drumming words. Trump's laughing, but there is no comedy in violating or suppressing freedom of speech.

Www.lastnighton.com says, "In its review of the second quarter numbers, Jimmy Kimmel Live averaged 1.7 million total viewers, making it the second most-watched show in its 11:35 pm time slot and the third-most-watched late-night program behind Gutfeld and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert." Indicating he is number three... not a bad place to be, despite Trump's claims about abysmally low ratings.

There is something seriously wrong with individuals who don't see this as governmental infringement on the free press, social media, and individuals' rights. Trump has jumped the rails. God help Americans: the good, the bad, and the comedians.

Ducky. It was not the government. The first amendment is safe.

Allowance for being above current allowance
Maybe they will look at it as a monopoly. That is a lot of ad dollars. And contracts too. The local channel feed in cable is via the nexstar Tegna Sinclair…..
In the end the broadcaster determined what was on abc was not representative. Here it looks like all the libs here don’t like the rules broadcasters police themselves by.
Speculating what the fcc will do is as unpredictable [follow the money] as how the SEC makes calls on mergers.

The asshole leftists who say the most disgusting things that any real human would abhor do not deserve the recognition of a direct response.

They spout nothing but easily debunked lies, and they somehow envision themselves as 'worthy opponents?'

No. Worthy opponents are open to debate, which can be rewarding for both sides of an issue. You leftard fucks are just children crying the same bullshit over and over.
You guys really miss ole Charlie, don't you?

He was always up for a debate as to whether black pilots were qualified to fly commercial airliners, or whether women were qualified to sit on the Supreme Court.

You really miss those sort of "debates", don't you.

Liberals today won't even entertain the thought of debating the merits of skin color and intelligence, acting like it's a settled issue that blacks can be just as smart as whites.

Not true. It's dripping away like an ice cream cone on hot Augusta day. You just are not capable of see it. Must be MAGA influencer factors or... you think it's okay for the felon to destroy jobs because they make fun of him.
How is that father’s first amendment dripping away? What did he say against the government and the government react? Nexstar, Sinclair and abc/disney are not the government. This is not about the first amendment. I wish he would try to make a case for the first amendment. The lesson Disney gives him would be extreme entertainment. They could sell pay-per-view for it.

Nice try blaming it on low ratings. Kimmel was the number two show in that time slot.
His ratings only slipped 2.3 %. He still had millions of viewers.
Nothing he said was offensive. Trump and his magas just can't handle either the truth or a joke !

The administration threatened action and the network was coerced to action .

Blatant and indefensible

I’m bemused by the left-wing reaction to the firing of Jimmy Kimmel by ABC, along with the termination of employment of various people who had posted on social media platforms expressing their joy in the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The leftists (i.e. legacy media journalists and pundits plus Democratic Party politicians and operatives) and those afflicted with TDS, are beside themselves alleging Pres Trump is brazenly attacking the constitutional right of freedom of speech. Apparently, freedom of speech in their minds means one is immune from losing one’s employment. Aside from the fact that such interpretation is erroneous, but there also is the implication that such actions are new and unique by Pres Trump’s administration.

I refer you to the case of Al Campanis, who was the Vice President of Player Personnel for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He appeared on ABC's Nightline with Ted Koppel, in April of 1987, and was asked about the lack of Black managers and executives in Major League Baseball. He responded by saying that Black people "may not have some of the necessities" to be field managers or general managers. The backlash was immediate and intense. Within 48 hours, Campanis was forced to resign from his position.

Needless to say, at the time no one felt that his freedom of speech was violated by his loss of employment. Obviously, the leftists have no problem in anyone losing his or her job when publicly uttering a racial slur, but publicly disparaging Pres Trump or publicly expressing their joy in Charlie Kirk’s death should not be a cause for termination of employment. Apparently, the word hypocrisy does not appear in the leftist’s dictionary.

What Kimmel said was neither the "truth" or a "joke". He blamed the Maga movement and maliciously claimed that the assassin was a Maga conservative. All the evidence submitted confirms the assassin was on the left and hated Charlie Kirk. Kimmel deliberately tried to deceive people, so that to most people (other than Democrats) is a lie.

Kimmel lied, and now he suffers the consequences. Democrats have long believed they are above consequences for their words and deeds.

And oh yeah, saying Kimmel was the number 2 show in his timeslot is damning with faint praise. His show, like Colbert's has been shedding viewers for years. His big mouth gave ABC the excuse to dump him as his show likely cost more to produce than the revenue he brought in due to his declining viewership.

You're seemingly okay with the FCC chair saying that if the companies didn't can him for belittling the president, then the FCC would have to step in and take action? This is from the man who said other shows would be targeted as well. This is a governmental-level threat of censorship. You haven't a clue about the context for Trump's hurt feelings being acted upon by an underling abusing his control over corporations seeking to expand their businesses. It is NOT about business; it is about stifling speech that Trump is unhappy with. Narcissistic behavior with targeted retribution, exactly as Trump said he was.

Ultimately the question for MAGA supporters is whether or not the constitution, more specifically the Bill of Rights, is still the sacred law of the US?

If the 2nd Amendment should be taken in the most flexible form possible, why should the same application of the law not apply to the other other amendments?

And Libel and Slander are also addressed in the first amendment.

But you cannot legally directly or indirectly influence target individuals or organizations for criticism of their speech. The most recent decision, which was decided by the current Supreme Court, was decided 9-0 in favor of the NRA for this exact purpose

As usual Radicalized democrats can’t read the tea leaves. The wind is shifting. The sails are filling and the boat is lurching to starboard. The media landscape isn’t what it was in 2016. What could be ignored then will not be now.

I’m not surprised they didn’t see this coming. A lot of us on the right didn’t either, but the correction to normality, or what used to pass for normal is happening. That the left is so pissed they’re shooting us in the streets is telling.

Do you even read the things you post?
Stick to the memes, ok, twat jr.

Kimmel committed the cardinal sin of comedy...............he wasn't funny.

To repeat myself, Kimmel running his mouth was just what the network needed to can his money losing ass. It's just that simple.
Also..... do the libturds realize that that festering puss filled boil of a failing late night show "host" has a net worth of over 50 million dollars?.... f@#k him !....

Where were these voices of outrage when FOX canned Carlson????

Carlson is prospering with his podcasts I'm sure Kimmel can do the same, right?
