The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I inherited my grandfather's grandmother's mantel clock. It will run, but not all week. I think that I'll give it to Junior. He lives in the Big City and I'm sure he can find someone to tinker it into proper operation. And I know he can afford it.
I have a grandmother clock from Germany my parents gave me. I haven't had it hung for years. I know it must need some work. Maybe another project?

I kinda wanna do that cruise thingie from your place to Alaska. Maybe.

I also wanna do the 6 month boat ride to the Antarctic.
We did the Alaska cruise. It is SO worth it! If you do it make sure you get a cabin on the port side with a balcony. The ships (at the time) cruised Glacier Bay clockwise. My husband woke me with breakfast and we watched the glacier calving from the balcony.

I also want to go to Antarctica. It's the reason I started training. I have read there are smaller research vessels that take passengers. They can choose to participate or not in the research. Smaller vessels can land passengers while the large cruise ships cannot. I've been trying to talk my niece, a marine biologist, to go with me. So far, not having any luck. I'd like to go before I get too old.

We had a great trip yesterday. Started off in Port Jervis NY. Wound our way up the upper Delaware River which was beautiful. Stumbled upon Robelings Viaduct… a bridge carrying water over the Delaware River. Kinda cool - they used it for the old canals.

Then found this great town called Narrowsville NY, where we crossed and hit Route 6 into Scranton. Really pretty country.

We went to steam town and so all of the old school train engines. It was pretty cool. Today I shall be going to the Dunder-Mifflin Paper company. 😂

Scranton is really a pretty nice city.

Looks like a cool trip already!
