Can't hurt.
First, do no harm.
If I don't know, I wager that at this stage, I know someone who can he'p.

Something came up (SWMBO) and it was kind of too windy anyhow…kid ended up going to a local pond and caught a HUGE bass! All the while keeping a sharp eye out for a 5’ gator who patrols that pondDid you catch anything?![]()
Do it. Welcome to the 5+ book going club! One hasn’t been touched in 6 months or more, but it’s the third book in a trilogy biography of Sir Winston…it can get dry so it gets to collect dust till I’m in the mood.I have three books going right now, and that makes me wonder if I will start a 4th before finishing one of them.
This happens kinda regularly.

Holy hell - the HS reunion was decent.
There’s a reason I know people and stay in touch with them. I don’t believe in phony friends or people who will say “let’s do something” and never do.
But the after party was a metric fuckton of fun. Home at 3am.
I see you lovelySneaking in and waving
He got up went and dressed brushed teeth etc all by his lonesome. Got his shoes and socks on etc and we are gonna run to my house later to get a few yhings flish toilets etcYou need to continue to rest. I know you want to take care of your dad, but you're no good to anyone if you're run down.![]()

A littleAnd, some days, that's all that's needed. Feeling any better?
What fun is that?Can't hurt.
We still need them down here. Average high will drop to 90 this week.Wat bought casserole fixin's.
Favorite time of year, v2.0. No need for HVAC systems, as the windows take care of the V part.
There's an author and a book I'd suggest for you...Something came up (SWMBO) and it was kind of too windy anyhow…kid ended up going to a local pond and caught a HUGE bass! All the while keeping a sharp eye out for a 5’ gator who patrols that pond. I’ll post some pics if he’ll send them to me. Today it’s even more windy…oh well.
Reunions. I’ve actually been to two over the years. A 20 and a 25. Not because I really wanted to go, but a buddy whom I’ve know since I was 5 (neighbor) was on the welcoming committee and he sort of strong armed me. Not that I’m that weak to be strong armed, but he married into a family of gals who’s daddy has 2000 acres of hunting land up in the county that harvests more white tails than any other in the state!. Didn’t want to ruffle any feathers on that front…IYK.
Apples. I like the Fuji. Not because they’re any better than any other variety (they’re good though!) but because my apple cobbler I make in my #12 cast iron Dutch oven calls for them in that recipe! So when I get apples, I just always get the Fuji’s.
Here’s some trivial pursuit BS knowledge. Turn-O-da-Centtury there were over 100 varieties of apples. By the 70’s there were down to less than 10!. I know there has been a push to preserve and cultivate the heirloom seeds and varieties and from the discussion upstream, it sounds like a lot have made a comeback. Arkansas Black?
. Never heard of such!

I thought today was... I guess that'll happen when one has to wake up and go to work twice in the same day.Everyone have a great Sunday, tomorrow is Monday! FYI
Oh! That looks like it’s right up my alley. When I was in school I’d check out those FireFox books from the library. There was a whole series of them. Old Appalachian lore of everything from cooking to weaving corn silk seats for rocking chairs. There's an author and a book I'd suggest for you...

So true! Lots of new but still some of the same-old, same-old.Oooh! New computer! Equal parts exciting and irritating. You'll get there, Likes.![]()
Sneaking in and waving
Ugh - too true.Isn't that the way it is? You fix one thing then something else rears its ugly head!![]()
Right? And they were tipsy? Low hanging fruit. Let the mind games commence. That's the best revenge!
"Who are you, again?"![]()
I'm ok.. go read it novel.. have a good weekend
You, too. I'm in the middle of one, too.![]()
Holler at me
I'm juggling just two right now. Different platforms. One has a due date, the other not. Both equally interesting to me.I have three books going right now, and that makes me wonder if I will start a 4th before finishing one of them.
This happens kinda regularly.
That's one way to crash a party.Fuck sleep let's go get em

Sounds like a fabulous night! Also sounds like a great crop of kids.Holy hell - the HS reunion was decent.

Way to go, kiddo!! Doesn't sound very relaxing but then I suppose a 5' gator might keep things interesting for a youngster like him.kid ended up going to a local pond and caught a HUGE bass! All the while keeping a sharp eye out for a 5’ gator who patrols that pond
It's a very interesting history. The current patent system is fascinating as well. I had no idea.Turn-O-da-Centtury there were over 100 varieties of apples. I dropped down to the 2-3 book going club once I started working from home. For the best really. Ever try juggling 5 police procedural mysteries at once? Can get very confusing at times.Do it. Welcome to the 5+ book going club! One hasn’t been touched in 6 months or more, but it’s the third book in a trilogy biography of Sir Winston…it can get dry so it gets to collect dust till I’m in the mood.
nope. uh-uh. 74 is plenty warm for mid-September tyvmWe still need them down here. Average high will drop to 90 this week.
Sounds like a wonderful reference book. As do the Foxfire series recommended by @HumpDayHoratio - although I'm too far north of the Mason-Dixon to have heard of them. I may need to look into an InterLibrary LoanThere's an author and a book I'd suggest for you...

Still are - apples remain one of an alarmingly few foods on my Safe Foods list. Even peanut butter is a fair-weather friend. Many people don't realize how important apples were, for the survival of the early settlers.
I get a personal little chuckle out of it seeing as I use "Spoon Theory" in my daily life.Random thought...
Doesn't "Spooners" sound so much nicer than "Greasy bastids?"
