On most topics the MAGA attention span is . . . SQUIRREL!! . . .

They can swallow Robert F. Kennedy Jr saying President Trump deserves the Nobel Prize for operation "Warp Speed" that came up with mRNA vaccines quickly . . . and then saying that, on the other hand, we shouldn't trust vaccines in the first place.

But the Jeffrey Epstein files are the oxygen that MAGA needs to stay alive. If they're told there's nothing there (or, worse, that Jeffrey Epstein's long-time friend Donald Trump's name is everywhere in them!) they go bug-eyed and choking.

epstein told Wolff, the author, that he was convinced it had been trump that 'squealed' on him (likely without identifying himself) to the F.B.I after their falling out over a property purchase. That was the only work he ever did for them as an informant, lol.

On another note, one of the lawyers who had been working the epstein cases for 20 years said that calling the names 'the epstein list' was really a misnomer: with all the information from the girls and women he'd worked with, getting their depositions, epstein didn't work with a 'list' that way. Wealthy/powerful men would phone hime to say they'd be in town on a specified timeline, and he'd send girls to their houses or have them over to his own residences where young girls, as young as 14, would be provided for their pleasures. If a girl was reluctant to do repeat performances, he'd frequently offer them a bonus of $200 for themselves and $50 for each new girl they brought to him. The lawyer stated that the 'list' was to be found by looking at the phone number records from the time as well as the victims' own depositions. In effect, epstein was operating the equivalent of a schoolgirl sex-trafficking pyramid scheme.

Your Richard Nixon did have some redeeming qualities (bringing the soldiers home from Vietnam, creating the Environmental Protection Agency, the opening with Communist China, etc. etc. etc.)

President Trump has no redeeming qualities at all.

My point had to do with the desperation evident in their respective gross cover-ups.
 
No files were released today, and the ultra-dumb pedo-supporting Deplorables are just fine with that.

Epstein suspected Trump ratted him out because Epstein had threatened to expose Trump’s money laundering for a Russian oligarch.

Epstein was trying to buy a South Florida estate. He brought Trump along to see it one time. A short time later Epstein found out that Trump had gone behind his back and placed a higher and ultimately successful bid on the property. He’d snatched it out from under him with a much higher bid. The problem was that Trump’s entire empire in 2004 was teetering on the edge of bankruptcy. It made no sense that Trump was coming up with $41 million to buy this property. Epstein suspected that Trump was acting as a front for a Russian oligarch as a money-laundering scheme. And in fact Trump did purchase and flip the estate two years later to a Russian oligarch named Dmitry Rybolovlev for $95 million, or a profit of over $50 million dollars.

Epstein was pissed for his own reasons (he wanted the estate). But he also suspected the money laundering scheme. So he threatened Trump that he would bring the whole thing out into the open through a series of lawsuits. Right about this same time authorities got a tip about Epstein’s activities which started the investigation that led to his eventual 2008 plea deal.

Two things:
1. I literally don't care whether files or lists or information is released about Epstein. Those who did bad shit already got away with it.
2. Trump said he would release the files or lists. His administration is comprised of people who made a living off of seeking the truth about the case. His AG said she was instructed by the President to release all the things. He is the one going back on his word and he should own up to that.
 
The New York Times ran a great piece today on JP Morgan and Eppstein. It may become a moot point on releasing the files if the rest of the laundered money and dirt comes out via the media. It may be considered 'fake news' by some but the read was exceptional and thorough. The scrambling on wall street, banks and other organizations today should be fun to watch, if the media follows through.

Wonder what's in the Deutsche bank files too.
