The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Good afternoon. The procedure went well. I survived the colonoscopy prep and procedure was nothing. I will no more when lab results get back.

I’m not going to try to catch up and hope all are well. See you all tomorrow morning.
Glad it went well. The day of… not too bad. The day before???

But glad it’s behind you. Get it???

Theresa a little bit less posts today than the last few days.

Helps me stay current.

Had a busy nite last night finishing up the apartment for the new tenants to move in on Saturday. Tonight I went to a retirement party (not mine, unfortunately…) but saw a lot of people who have recently retired. Makes me wonder…

Other than that - just corporate stuff.

Tonght planning our road trip in mid September and a few concerts.

I think I asked you, but have you seen the documentary that made waiter this year about their warily years?

It was excellent. Lots of interviews - even some older ones w John bonham. I’d recommend it.

Wife and I saw it in the theater.

I’ll have to dig up
Some old pics. My wife dated a rock photographer in the late 70s (she’s 10 yo than I) and she took some phenomenal pics of LZ herself.
Thanks! I put this in my watch later folder! I will DEFINITELY watch this! I've loved this group from the beginning. 💞💞

Hope you do! That’s really too hot to mow. Unless you do it in the early evening.

(Or early morning… runs and hides… I know you’re not a morning person! 😂)
It's stayed hot into the evenings. Yesterday we got a bit of a reprieve. It was high 70s but humid and sprinkling on and off. I ended up mowing both yards. I was debating on whether I should do it or let my helper do it. As it happened, he put the wrong time in his phone and showed up an hour late. 🙄😤

Meanwhile, my line had yesterday's fucking plumbing leak. There is a supply pipe called CPVC. After it is over 20 years old, it gets brittle. It's a maintenance man's nightmare. Touch a line to turn off a toilet valve and have it sometimes, without warning, pop loose in the wall and then you have a half-inch (12mm) line spewing forth. Anyway, we have that pipe in this 48-unit apartment/flat rehab. Did the first 3 units Monday. The downstairs kitchen cold water supply popped a'loose 24 hours later. The only good part is, she's in the hospital so she isn't home for this "experience."

Story is, if she were home, it wouldn't have been her first rodeo.
Sounds like a nightmare! Do you end up just replacing all the plumbing?? 😳🤯😱

I don't use cloud storage either.

But I do geek out and use SyncThing. Running on my own server and phone. With the proper configuration all pictures get backed up when the phone is on my own wifi. Setting that software up the first time isn't for the faint of heart.
My photos just get backed up to my Google account. Then, I transfer them from my computer to my external hard drive.
