The Many Faces of Solitude

Solitude wears many masks.

Sometimes it is cruel - a silence so deep you want to scream, just to hear proof that your voice is still alive.

Sometimes it is heavy - a cloak you did not choose, but one you’ve worn so long it clings like a second skin.

Other times, solitude softens. It curls beside you like an old companion,
keeps you company in the small hours,
teaches you how to stand without needing anyone else to hold you up.

And solitude will know it has been dethroned. It will bow, gather its masks,
