The American Academy of Opthomology has a great article on this:Ok. Quick medical question anti-VEGF Injections. Dangerous or no?
Asking for a friend...![]()
I didn't think this works on cataracts. Why haven't you had them removed and lens implants put in?For wetAMD...

I have cataracts
Sorry to hear this, RJ.@Oldermom935
My wife has a chronic illness
It's rare and not well known...and will not have a good outcome in the long run.
I don't like to talk about it. I'm surprised I even mentioned it here. I'm not looking for sympathy, just a FYI for you.

Maybe you're not sure how the internet works? If the clientele is 50+ then why be open all night? I’m ready to be in bed by ten these days lol
I hate it when I wake up just a couple of hours after I went to sleep.I try and shoot for 9 but last night was twelve and then up again at three...
Thanks, Likes! I didn't read ahead and posted the rules also.Hmm... valid and yet...
Wait a minute... doesn't your rig run 2 shifts (day & night)? What was your counterpart doing if it was your turn to sleep?
my first thought, too
Naked + Pool + Thunderstorm =![]()
hope to see you tomorrow
fixed it
retired coworker's mom had shots for MAC-D. She had both wet and dry. I never got lots of details but don't recall anything negative. They helped to slow the progression. She was in her mid-80s at the time.
That engine's probably bigger than my entire car
similar type?:
Accessibility always ups the difficulty score. Well done being on top of that one.
I read that too fast... Anti-Veg not Anti-Vag
Bad Likes, no
Welcome, newcomers... I think we have a couple new faces in the café? Here's our standard greeting penned by our own Missk:
There looks to be some new folks in the group...
We run this thread a little differently.
Read the first post...goes over the "rules" so to speak.
I will summarize:
1. No religion
2. No politics
3. No drama
4. No hitting on the women-- dm the person if interested.... if they don't respond.... there is your answer.
5. For God sake read a profile before you dm the wrong person.
6. If your first post is heavy on the innuendo ..... you need to slow your roll
This thread is like the bar cheers or the corner coffee shop. We are FRIENDS here and not like other threads...we are fiercely protective of the vibe and each other. If this sounds like a place you would like, stick around.... if not there are eleventy billion other threads that will suit your needs.
To get an idea of the vibe I would scroll through the last 10 pages or so and you will see.
Thanks
And now... I'm off for an hour of PT before winding down for the night.
Sweet Dreams all...

Thanks Lily...The American Academy of Opthomology has a great article on this:

Basically they're used to slow down or stop the formation of new blood vessels in the eye. Can be helpful for those with macular degeneration, diabetes, and a few other conditions. It can slow down vision loss or even improve it.
I would recommend the individual have a good, candid conversation with their ophthalmologist about risks and benefits. If it's a choice between slowly losing vision or maybe improving it, I would do it.
Sheeeeeit.... I bet you can throw one like a dart and hit my vein!!!That's a good place to learn also. Their veins are so fragile!
I doubt I could start one now. I haven't started an IV in over a decade.
Thanks for the coffee and smiles OM!
Have you been overdoing the spray tan again? It's been oppressively hot here lately; today was over 90°!Tonight, the clouds rolled in to cool us off. When I took my trash bins out, I noticed an orange moon! This is not filtered!

The first ones I ran had data tags stamped 1977 and 1978.
A technician was onboard doing and annual inspection and I told him it was impressive they're still running...
He replied
"Oh hell no! That ones a 1953 and that one's a 1957, those tags are when they got a factory reman!"
That was in 2017.
I had cataracts removed and see so much better.I didn't think this works on cataracts. Why haven't you had them removed and lens implants put in?
Hmmm. Well..., maybe that. And/or a light fondle. But nothing more!![]()
